Holding the vase of the south, Hūṃ! In this vase of five jewels, reside the Sugata's qualities and the assembly of deities. By empowering you, the deceased, may the gate of birth as a god be cut off, and may you be born in a glorious pure land. Sba Ratna Satā Samaya, etc. Ratta Abhiṣiñca Svāhā. Imagine that you are being washed by the stream of the five wisdoms of the vase water. Then, place the vase on the crown of the head and the navel, and bathe. Taṃ Taṃ Taṃ! Taṃ Taṃ Taṃ! Taṃ Taṃ Taṃ Pivaṃ hold it, Svāhā! With this sweet sound of the lute that destroys the distractions of the demons of enjoyment, by empowering you, the deceased, may you complete your karma in one lifetime. A Sarva Tathāgata Bhidana Khaṅga Chinda Chinda Hūṃ Phaṭ! Hūṃ! To the Bhagavan Indra, the lord of a hundred, offer the stainless pure food, and the torma offering of desirable ornaments. I pray that the deceased may purify their defeats and downfalls. Oṃ Muni Tre Svāhā! Sarva Nivit Vidyā Pāccha Kha Kha Khāhi! Hūṃ! From below this cut-off land, is the place of the six realms of samsara, abandon it, discard it, son of the lineage! From above this cut-off land, is the land of liberation and bliss, go forth, depart, son of the lineage! May you attain the irreversible ground! For the sake of gradually liberating the six realms, Ya Siṃ Ra Rluṃ Pa Laya. May you attain the irreversible ground! E Kara Na Bhe Tsaka Sha! Plant the banner of the deceased in the human realm. Alas! Sentient beings like me with bad karma, due to the karmic power of afflictions and desires, are born in the human realm of the desire realm. The suffering of busyness and poverty is beyond words. Please liberate me from this suffering. Please hold me with great compassion. Hūṃ! This torma offering endowed with the five desires, I give to you, the deceased, who are burdened with busyness, poverty, grudges, and resentments, the living demons, the dead iron, and the karmic debtors! May you be pleased and satisfied with this torma offering, and do not obstruct the liberation of this deceased! Oṃ Sarva Bhuta Balitta Khāhi! Oṃ Nama Sarva Tathāgata Bhobhi Vishva, etc. This is the water of the nature of diligence, which purifies the stains of doubt. By thoroughly washing with the water of joy and delight, may the stains of hesitation be purified. I prostrate to the one who performs the excellent bathing! The hundred-syllable mantra or, Bodhi! O A Byu Gya Taṃ Ke! May all the bad karma and obscurations of the deceased, who are not busy and impoverished, be pacified, may they be extinguished, Svāhā! Pride, wrong views, and doubt, these are the three poisons of the world, Samantabhadra, peaceful and wrathful.

Nowhere to escape! The Buddha conquers poison with truth! May the doubts and defilements of this deceased be purified! Om Ah Hum Bodhicitta Mahasukha Jnanadhatu Ah! Om Rulu Rulu Hum Bhyo Hum! This is the root mantra! Mama Kolisamanta! May all the unfulfilled impoverished karma and negative imprints of the deceased be pacified, calmed, increased, controlled, and destroyed, Svaha! Visualize that in the sand mandala, the deity's rays of light, like flames, burn away the seed (na) of the human, causing it to lose its green nature! Alas! Deceased, son of the lineage who has changed bodies! Driven by afflictive emotions and desires, even if you have practiced the ten virtuous deeds with outflows, you can only be reborn as a human in the four great continents of the desire realm, and that is also a place of samsara! In this samsara, there is never even a needlepoint of happiness, the Buddha said! Even if there is a little, there is the suffering of change! Your relatives are wailing and calling out beside you, parents, children, and relatives all saying "I am yours"! Houses, dwellings, possessions, wealth, and the sound of calling your name are all demons that obstruct the path to enlightenment! Do not listen, do not look, do not think! Do not be attached to this, generate the mind of enlightenment! Here, the only one who can be a protector and refuge is the Lion of Men, Shakyamuni Buddha! Speak these words of taking refuge in him! Abandon all doubts and clinging, depart in bliss! Diligently attain the Dharma, completely eliminate doubts! Shakyamuni Buddha holds the vajra and lotus! I pray to purify the suffering of birth, old age, sickness, and death! Victorious One, Buddha, I take refuge in you! Again, collect the holy water into the main vase! Hum! The precious vase is a palace, where the peaceful and wrathful deities reside! Deceased, you are being empowered by this, may you receive the blessings of the deities! In the manner of placing the vase in the five directions of the head! Hum Vajra Abhishincha Ah! This is the Buddha of the East! Om Buddha Abhishincha Ah! Sa Ratna Abhishincha Ah! Om Padma Abhishincha Ah! Ho Karma A bhishincha Ah! Visualize that the water of the vase washes away with the stream of the five wisdoms! Place the vase at the heart and behind the left ear, and bathe! Om Ah Hum Svaha! Recite three times! Hold the vajra! Hum! In the bowl of the precious vajra, the peaceful and wrathful deities reside! The sound of the vajra and the hermit is the mind symbol of the peaceful and wrathful deities!
