Like that. For some abbreviated practices of the Nyingma school, the vase and the mandala are inseparable as one; the deity generated in front and the vase are inseparable as one; these and the offering torma are inseparable as one. Without meditating on the two mandalas of self and front, there might be abbreviated practices, but it is not appropriate for empowerment, etc. The vase and the torma, etc., in front of the main deity generated in front and the four directions of the retinue, in the four corners, the vase generates those deities inside; the torma also generates the torma deity in front of the main deity. When arranging, the mandala, vase, torma, etc., can be arranged in layers, but during meditation, they are not layered. Why is that? Because the front generation is a palace, it is not appropriate for the vase to be like a golden pillar erected; just like the umbrella tops in the center of the palace exist independently, there cannot be three layers stacked in the space realm. Why is the self-generation much higher than the front generation? The emanation and retraction of the mantra garland, etc., are not convenient. In the four corners of the front-generated mandala, it is clear to everyone that there are vases and skull cups, etc., so it is certain that the former is reasonable. The mandala in front is in the stone enclosure and charnel ground, in the corridor outside the palace. Because the self-generated mandala is meditated upon, in the corridor of the front-generated mandala, the patrons and all the people are meditated upon in the mandala in front, with prostration as the goal, performing hundreds of prostrations. Then there is the well-known "Pouring of Peace and Wrath," which is a ritual shaken from the depths of hell, the root of which is fulfillment, confession, and self-liberation from deficiencies. The words of the tantra are jumbled and very difficult to understand; it is difficult to know the meditation and sequence of this, it is a collection of the intent of the three yogas. For this, the outer offering is easy to understand; the realm of the Dharmakaya is the palace of the Dharmadhatu, pervading like the sky, it is the realm of the Dharmakaya; these are pervaded by the minds of all Buddhas; all Buddhas are one Dharmakaya, therefore it is called the infinite Dharmakaya. The dense array and the five realms of the five families, there is arising but no destruction; those are the five Buddha families, fathers and mothers, etc.; likewise, all Tathagatas and Buddha Mothers belong to the category of peaceful infinity. In the lower dense array realm, in the great charnel ground of the stable and moving world, all wisdom wrathful deities and wrathful mothers reside; likewise, the sky-goers.

The place, whether large or small, temporarily for the sake of taming the beings to be subdued, manifests as wrathful deities and, numerous wrathful mothers, dissolving into the realm of reality. In the north of Mount Meru, the Willow Grove, the natural charnel ground of Oddiyana, Malaya, the eight great natural charnel grounds of India, etc., all the wisdom protectors, wrathful deities reside. All of those are the immeasurable palaces of the wrathful deities, that is the outer peaceful and wrathful mandala, primordially accomplished, spontaneously accomplished peaceful and wrathful ones. On one's own body, channels, energies, and bindus, the peaceful and wrathful ones reside, which is the inner mandala. Otherwise, in front, with paintings, colored powders, etc., arranged and practiced, when inviting and offering, although there is no concept of going and staying, like the moon in water, appearing wherever the object of focus is, that is the other mandala, in those, there is no deity that is not gathered, therefore it is called the immeasurable peaceful and wrathful ones. Three thousand Mount Merus, four continents, a hundred million, other than that, pure and impure, in all Buddha-fields and worlds, with offerings made of wondrous divine substances and, flowers and other outer offerings, all that is primordially accomplished is taken with wisdom, imagined to fill the sky and space, actually preparing the five offerings, from the heart emanate countless goddesses, not only to the mandala in front, everywhere the sky pervades, in all Buddha-fields, spreading clouds of offerings and greatly rejoicing. Everywhere the sky, pervades all Buddha-fields, immeasurable peaceful ones, immeasurable wrathful ones, and, Dharma protectors, oath-bound ones, with the ocean of retinues, offering individually with clouds of offerings, visualize. Hūṃ! (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: 吽!) Three thousand, recite the complete sentences such as "This or..." After offering in this way, the desired prayers and aspirations are, may all transgressions be fulfilled, after reciting thus, request the granting of empowerment and accomplishment. That is the way of the generation stage Mahāyoga, having established appearances as deities and consorts, with the vase empowerment, fulfilling transgressions and, accumulating merit and wisdom, gathering the intent of the sutras. After that, the fulfillment of nectar and medicine is, the substance is pure, untainted alcohol, rubbing the pills made with eighty thousand medicinal ingredients, if there is no alcohol, milk is sufficient, the vessel is filled inside a auspicious vase, if available, offered by a woman of noble lineage, if not available, offered by a servant, also wearing the attire of a ḍākinī.
