When heading towards Rakham, since it wasn't a dangerous place, we set up camp together at Tsernying. That night, thunder roared, almost struck by lightning, and heavy rain mixed with hail fell. The next morning, upon waking up, I saw a strange sight: a black man riding a black horse, a red-faced man riding a red horse, and a blue-clothed man riding a blue horse, all three adorned with bows, arrows, and Dharma wheels. They were dressed in fine clothes and were larger than humans. They were pacing back and forth inside the camp in front of me. I thought they might be some terrifying nobles. When I asked them where they were from, they said, "We have always been here." Only then did I realize that they were the Dharma protectors, the three brothers Pukyi. After saying that, they disappeared. About seven days later, Dharma protectors came from the Tulku, bringing generous gifts such as fine copper gongs and documents. Counting the days, the Tulku said that the night the Dharma protectors came was a symbol of offering to the three brothers Pukyi and giving instructions. I wrote a detailed report and submitted it because the dream appeared clearly. When I stayed in Burmo, the officials from Chamdo and other places had the idea of running away. Although the people of Dege have great faith, if I stay for a long time, it will be the same with them. I am afraid that Dudul Dorje will also be unhappy. Because I am a Nyingma, I have no prejudice against the Nyingma. The root of the Nyingma is Kathok. Whether it is Kathok Monastery itself or its branch monasteries, in any place that you find suitable, please spend a few months in retreat. Do not stay in one place for too long. Next year, in the summer of the Horse year, slowly head back. Whether you come earlier in the autumn or later between the Horse and Sheep years, please also come here. I wrote a letter requesting this, and the reply I received was: In the summer of the Horse year, several monks were sent from Golok, and the content was exactly as it was, without any additions or subtractions. To the venerable and great refuge: From here, the benefit to others, such as guidance, is inconceivable. If you think that I should put aside my own affairs and single-mindedly do things for the benefit of others, although I dare not disobey your teachings, it is more effective to be here for three days than to work in my own homeland for three years.

Through teachings and guidance, benefiting beings, the assistance of new and old treasures to the Dharma is so great that I wouldn't dare to agree even to one percent. Even if I give empowerments and transmissions in my own homeland, it's only to please patrons and avert disasters. Since I arrived in this place, the Sky Dharma, the recitation rituals of the Wish-Fulfilling Jewel, and Dharma assemblies in this area, basically everyone does what I do. Even if I return to my homeland, empowerments and transmissions cannot be done all at once. If I continue to request, there is nothing that doesn't exist in terms of empowerments and transmissions in this area. Although I would like to meet the master, if I think that even every day can greatly benefit the Dharma, I am happy in my heart, so I have no desire to return to my homeland at all. If Tibet is not peaceful in the future, especially returning to my homeland is not necessary. This place is stable, free from harm, and it is enough to sleep peacefully and wake up peacefully. In general, if it is peaceful later, I will meet the master and be happy. After that, I will stay in this place or in a thriving Nyingma practice place in the south, and I hope to accomplish something that perfectly fulfills the benefit of myself and others. If I stay in my own homeland, I will waste my life by being distracted by my own and others' affairs, so unless I find a place to live where I don't meet ordinary people, I will blame myself in my heart. In general, life is like the sun shining through the clouds, and the years pass without realizing it, and I am always in a state of practicing Dharma. I pray for blessings to accomplish the Dharma, and in front of the pure master Rinpoche, I make the aspiration: May I attain enlightenment in this one lifetime and greatly benefit all sentient beings, and may the Dharma of Guru Rinpoche Padmasambhava spread throughout the world like the rising sun. To fulfill this wish, I offer fifty gold coins, and I pray for blessings to fulfill the wish. This is a non-empty petition with a merit scarf, presented on the auspicious third day of the month. It is said that this document has also arrived. Every day, my thoughts flow many times to the incarnate (master).
