With reverence. Before the Lama Amitabha, I offer the outer, inner, and secret mandalas. Sometimes, for the mandala alone, I accumulate about a hundred sets. During daily practice and festival offerings, I arrange whatever material offerings are available. I emanate immeasurably with my mind, In all pure and impure realms, Whatever is worthy of offering, I take it all with my mind and offer it. For wanting all happiness and joy, I make offerings to the Three Jewels. I put into practice as instructed. Thus, the mandala and Dharma sessions, I do myself as I explain to others. For the arising of experience and realization, The blessings of the Lama must enter, And the essence for the entry of the Lama's blessings, Is indispensable faith and devotion. Even if the Buddhas of the ten directions are good, If even a corner of their face is not seen, How can one obtain the profound Dharma? The Lama who has bestowed kindness, Is more kind than all the Buddhas. Although there are many who have received kindness, If not looking up with devotion, Then, the Bhagavan, Protector Amitabha, That body wrapped in human skin, Is the greatly kind Dharma Lord. Just remembering him transforms appearances, No correction is ever needed. I am certain he is the embodiment of all the Jewels. Inseparable, he is the crown ornament on my head. He is the lineage lord, and I see him as such. I meditate on him inseparably and pray, I see the signs of being blessed. I have had good fortune from the past, I have found the emanation of Amitabha, To rely on as my root Lama. Therefore, it is good to meditate on his actual form. My followers, monks, etc., Have not found one like the supreme victor, A Lama to rely on, Like me, Raga Asya, Ordinary individual spiritual friends, If it is necessary to rely on them as the root Lama, There might be a famine of Lamas. In that case, instead of meditating on the actual form, Meditate on the form of Amitabha and Orgyen, Inseparable from that essence, this is the key instruction. Praying like a dog barking or a pig grunting, The Dharma will not increase, On a carved bowl without patterns, Splendor will not appear, it is said. Then, meditating on the Lama is meaningless, If one thinks it is enough to meditate on the Buddha, Even if there is tea in the teapot, If the spout is blocked, The tea cannot be poured into the bowl. Even if the Buddhas bless, Without the Lama, there is no way to enter.

It is crucial to understand this. A strong conviction arises from the heart that the Lama and Yidam are inseparable. When making offerings to the Lama, maintain the offerings. Recite the Lama's practice name and mantra many times. Even within the offerings of the Torma, if the name and mantra of the kind Lama are absent, the mind will not be satisfied. Even within each day, remembering the Lama, in the presence of the Lama, hundreds of thoughts will arise. Who among parents, siblings, close friends, etc., cherishes the Lama as much? What need is there to mention the supreme Victor (Buddha)? Even if in dreams one sees the Lamas who have bestowed empowerment, transmission, and connection, one feels joy as if seeing them in person, and apart from faith and pure appearances, there is no doubt in the mind that they are demons or evil spirits. For all who have received empowerment, transmission, and connection, even if it is difficult to generate unfeigned devotion and respect, one should generate the firm conviction that the Yidam of the empowerment received is truly real. The way to practice Lama Yoga, as it is said in the marketplace, is the way to practice oneself. Empowerment, transmission, teachings, etc., are very distracting, and even if it is difficult to generate deep Shamatha, because the generation stage and Shamatha have the same meaning, one's own body is the body of the Yidam, like a rainbow, clear and empty, in the sky. The heart's seed syllable, mantra wheel, and various radiations and withdrawals of light, accomplish limitless activities, and through other visualizations of radiation and withdrawal, one performs ransom from death, purification of obscurations, transference of abode, and protection of the living, removal of obstacles, etc. Because this is the root of practice, one always feels as if there is no connection. Even if easily distracted, one will not lose it, because one has been very familiar and accustomed to it from before, so it is as if one has gained autonomy. The way to practice these, even if there are countless methods in each session, how could one write them all here? Compared to Sutra, this mantra is a quick path, because this is merely the meaning of the generation stage, so this is extremely important. Through Shamatha and the generation stage, as well as the explanations of other meditations, these are the ways to practice oneself. The method of generating Vipassanā wisdom, this has both common and special aspects. The common general Vipassanā is the wisdom that discriminates all phenomena, the old monk, the master of Rāga Asya, without having done extensive studies, the Paṇḍita of the Northern tradition, who prays in the name of the Yidam, the Melodious Voice Lama, the Dharma's Manifestation, by praying to him with one-pointedness,
