Meditate with sincerity, without duplicity. Whatever happiness and virtue I possess, Silently infuse them into all sentient beings, May all sentient beings possess immeasurable happiness, Meditate on this again and again. This is merely a connection to the giving of love. Regarding those four types of giving, I will strive to do what I can and encourage others as well. Desiring to place all sentient beings in happiness, This is the perfection of giving, A slight connection to the fourth chapter. Thus, through material giving, one possesses enjoyment, Through Dharma giving, one possesses wisdom, Through fearlessness giving, one is without obstacles, Through loving-kindness giving, one cherishes beings, etc. Experiencing boundless benefits and happiness in lifetimes, Even though it ultimately becomes the cause for perfect enlightenment, Without discipline, one will not obtain a good body, Nor can one purify the merits of others' giving, Therefore, the teacher appears to have taught discipline. Among them, the discipline of vows accumulates virtuous Dharma, The discipline of benefiting beings has three aspects, If one guards the discipline of vows, then the other two, Will naturally be accomplished, and if those two are not guarded, The three cannot coexist, therefore, I have guarded the discipline of vows. Among them, there are three: Pratimoksha vows, Bodhisattva vows, and Mantra vows. Pratimoksha vows, in both the Great and Small Vehicles, Each has its own way of receiving them, some believe. However, the Kagyu tradition believes that although there is only one, As it is said, it transforms according to the difference in intention. The Pratimoksha vows that I guard, Are for the sake of attaining omniscience and enlightenment, Therefore, it is definitely the Pratimoksha of the Great Vehicle. The nine precepts of refuge and the layperson's, Five precepts, likewise the novice monk's, Ten precepts and the fully ordained monk's, Two hundred fifty-three precepts, The root precepts are guarded like life, without impairment. Regarding subtle details, through observing the Uposatha vows, etc., In the future, I will also strengthen the water-moon vows. Fearing that some unnoticed subtle details may occur, Therefore, I observe the complete Uposatha vows with the Sangha, And when not assembled, I receive the blessings of the auspicious Uposatha vows, And mostly practice the Samatha Uposatha vows, Now I boast of being a disciplined monk. The four black and white Dharmas of the Bodhisattva vows are carefully adopted and abandoned, The five kingly transgressions and

The five of the Lönpo. The eight transgressions of actions and each, and the vows of twenty, etc., are well examined. The root vows of aspiration and entry are protected without error. If subtle details are not noticed, they may be lost, so most auspicious times are used to take the Bodhisattva vows. Regularly take small gatherings and meditate on mind training. If you do so, you will boast of being a Bodhisattva. Having fully obtained the four empowerments of the mantra vows, the fourteen root downfalls and the eight gross ones. The root of the Nyingma is body, speech, and mind, as well as the twenty-five branches, twenty-eight commitments, etc. The root is not lost, it is carefully protected, and if subtle details are noticed, there will be no thought of loss. If you do not notice the risk of loss, perform the fulfillment confession and the hundred-syllable mantra. Occasionally take the self-entry of the yidam. Thus, one boasts of being a mantra practitioner with commitments. Thus, to protect the three vows, other traditions use the example of water in a water vessel and the moon's reflection. If the Pratimoksha is lost, it is thought that all three are lost. Some think that the three vows are transformed places, with the same essence. Those with the three are thought to be only mantra practitioners. The Kagyu tradition holds that giving up and obtaining are different, and that they are separate like the sun, moon, and stars. If they meet internally, it is said that the upper one is the most important. However, internal encounters have not experienced broken vows. Behavior is based on discipline, and the four root vows are carefully protected without error. When performing village rituals for thirteen years, because the fault of alcohol becomes the basis for others. Therefore, do not drink the tsok wine, but put it on the tongue with a finger. Take water on one seat, take off shoes until the end. Also, it is not for decoration or displeasure, but to see the benefits and needs of each, and to understand the great benefit of not becoming an obstacle to the teachings. Then, to understand the meaning of full ordination, one must practice the four Dharma practices of a renunciate. Towards Dharma friends, teachers, disciples, benefactors, and some monks who hold other views, even if they show anger, do not be angry, but comply with them. Even if you comply, remain neutral towards those who show anger. This is not to be angry with anger. Similarly, for those who have previously mixed and joined, because there is no attachment, associate with them as before. If you hear someone slandering or scolding you behind your back, do not speak words of slander or scolding in return. Do not cultivate anger, but say appropriate good words, etc. This is the meaning of not scolding back for scolding. For what is heard directly and spoken behind one's back, the son of Joru and the young one.
