The hardship of benefiting others, the hardship of prostrations and circumambulations of the body, the hardship of reciting mantras in silence, abstaining from evening meals, sitting alone, abstaining from white foods, meat, and alcohol, the hardship of enduring strict dietary restrictions, and so on. Whatever hardships arise in the practice of Dharma, I accept them thinking they are cleansing obscurations. Without regret or fear, I accept them with joy, which is the patience of accepting hardship. The patience of not minding harm is when lamas and mantra practitioners, whether of the same or different Dharma lineages, some with attachment and aversion, some with wrong thoughts, suppress speech, entrust to nagas, or direct curses. Even if these appear clearly in visions and dreams, and various unpleasant harms and illnesses actually occur to the body, I do not retaliate with fierce mantras, except for self-protection and repulsion. However, by the impartial judgment of the wisdom deities, even if they do not fare well, I do not retaliate. When a mantra practitioner with knowledge took my father's white pills and performed hail suppression, causing misfortune, illness, and disaster, I did not speak ill of him but remained indifferent. When I performed torma offerings and repelled zors, some curses were suppressed, and the life force was helped for a day or so, or the protection cord helped the life force, etc. When this happened, a lama of a different tradition, for whom the madness and possession that no one could help, was helped merely by his presence. He said that he had practiced the fierce Damtsi Domra deity and had opened his mouth to eat, etc. Although he proclaimed this to everyone, it harmed me and my Dharma lineage. Therefore, he swore and spoke in the name of a "accomplisher," incidentally telling many people. Other than that, I did not direct evil intentions or fierce mantras towards those who spoke those words. Similarly, for patrons, monks, and students, etc., whom I had clearly rescued from the mouth of demons, cutting off the consequences of sin and placing them in the ranks of humans and gods, some did not appreciate the kindness but falsely slandered, secretly spoke ill, and harbored evil intentions. Even to such people, I remained indifferent and did not harbor evil thoughts of retaliation. In short, to myself, no matter who is high or low, whoever harms, insults, slanders, speaks ill, harbors evil intentions, adds evil words, or speaks harsh words.

Now, regarding saying nonsense and so on, even though I have heard much and seen much myself, if I were to repay evil with evil, even if I were proficient in many fierce mantras, although it would be easy to stop it immediately with punishment, I have not done anything bad except to remain neutral. Like this, I have practiced patience myself, and I also encourage others to do so, wishing that all beings may abide in patience, and praising patience to others, this is the sixth chapter related to the practice of the Perfection of Patience. Then there are two types of diligence, pure and impure. Impure diligence is the fault of falling into extremes. Too much diligence leads to exhaustion of body, speech, and mind, imbalance of the body's elements, the rise of diseases, and long-term interruption of virtuous activities. Just like the story of the hare and the tortoise, even if one is not overly diligent, one should not always be lazy. Body, speech, and mind should constantly engage in hearing, thinking, and meditating, teaching, debating, and writing, as well as accumulating merit and purifying obscurations. There is nothing else to do besides these. When studying, one should have the diligence of studying, and when practicing, one should engage in the diligence of practice. Even the pillow was abandoned for three years. The various festival offerings and daily commitments, except for simplification, have never been interrupted. I have accumulated the various necessities for practicing the great Dharma. I have not said, "I need that, but it is not complete," nor have I said, "I need that, but it has not appeared." The yidam, Dharma protectors, my own torma guests, etc., I have never said that the recitation was not completed. Great and small Dharma assemblies, even including sporadic practices, have been done more than two hundred times. The respective items and implements for those, as well as life-wheels, suppressing demons, and so on, various things, I have not done anything arbitrarily without completing them. From doing the Torma ritual as a child until now, up to the great Dharma empowerment practice, the Do, Torma ritual, supplication, offering, subsequent permission, bathing, etc., although they are sometimes elaborate and sometimes simple depending on the leisure time, I have not done anything incomplete. The great Dharma practices of peaceful and wrathful deities, the practice of the three bodies, etc., according to the unerring ritual, I have performed grand practices, and I have not done perfunctory simple rituals. The offerings to the Dharma protectors and guardian deities, as well as the constant offering Torma, daily Torma, fixed Torma, and timed Torma, etc., are all done in accordance with their respective rituals. I have not arbitrarily called the daily recitation that only does the Torma ritual a "recitation and practice sequence." Empowerment
