Having little time for meditation and short periods of study in monasteries, learning merits from others, etc., even if heard, never directly or secretly revealing others' faults, not retaliating with the exposure of faults. Even if there was no direct beating or humiliation, King Beri, being too devout, was not satisfied even after killing many monks. Unable to find anyone to kill, he pretended to be a deceased realized being, feigning to walk and reside, his heart filled with fear. Rinchen Gyaltsen also, inside a residence resembling a fortress, was preparing sharp spears. The farmer offered flattery with offerings and amulets. Having heard this, he thought and said: I understand the meaning of obtaining a human body, having received the vows of a monk from Zhamarpa. Even if I cannot be liberated, I must never kill anyone. Rather than living a few years after breaking my vows, it is better to die in a state of pure vows. Having said this, he broke the spear on his neck, never holding it in his hand for even a day. This is not retaliating violence with violence. The root of individual liberation is that one must completely abandon harming others. Therefore, I have never harmed anyone, especially in front of the image of Yarlung Yerpa, I and my lineage, in all lifetimes, pray that we will never harm anyone. Abandoning all actions that could lead to harming others, such as lying, slander, and harsh words. Even if skilled in powerful mantras as strong as thunder and lightning, and as quick and sharp as poisoned arrows, I kept them deeply hidden, never showing them to anyone. In particular, the instructions for the fierce mantra of Namchö are strictly forbidden, and seals are placed on all evil deeds. This is the biography of abandoning all actions that harm others. In order to generate Bodhicitta and take vows, all merits are dedicated to all sentient beings. All actions of body, speech, and mind are directly or indirectly aimed at benefiting others, and there is never any action solely for one's own benefit. Even the practice of longevity, auspiciousness, and wealth is for the benefit of sentient beings, in order to achieve Bodhi. If faced with enemies who are ungrateful, repay kindness with harm, and curse and fight with malice, even if the opportunity to benefit in this life is exhausted, I vow to place them in the state of Buddhahood in the future, combining aspiration and prayer. This is the biography of practicing with the benefit of others as the foundation. After entering the gate of the Secret Mantra Vajrayana

Sa! The body is the deity, the speech is the mantra, and the mind is the samadhi. Mostly inseparable, all phenomena and existence are, expanded as gods and goddesses, purifying all appearances. Although the view understands the meaning of Ati Dzogchen, one should be careful in the subtle aspects of conduct. When performing the village ritual of abstaining from meat, one is thirteen years old. Except when needed for illness, even the feast meat is abstained from. Since offering meat is not allowed after abandoning the village ritual, one relies on feast meat to heal aging. Thereafter, the discipline of accumulating virtuous Dharma is mostly gathered during the time of listening, but rituals, Dharma practices, mandalas, the hundred-syllable mantra, and making tsha-tshas, Jowo statues, carving mani stones, and establishing supports for body, speech, and mind, etc., are not related to any virtuous Dharma. Thereafter, the discipline of benefiting sentient beings is as explained in the context of giving Dharma, etc. From now until the end of samsara, may my body, speech, and mind be dedicated to the benefit of the six realms. For the sake of the six realms, I will accomplish the supreme Bodhi, and even after accomplishing it, I will not fall into peace. Like the noble Avalokiteshvara, with immeasurable emanations that tame beings accordingly, may I establish all beings who reach the end of space in the supreme, unsurpassed, perfect Bodhi. This is the vast aspiration of generating the mind of enlightenment. Thus, with the discipline of possessing the three vows, with the intention to establish all beings in everything, and with the joy of praising discipline, and from abandoning the attachment to one's own discipline as supreme, not criticizing others' transgressions. This is related to the perfection of discipline, this is the fifth chapter. Thus, even if one possesses generosity and discipline, if one does not possess the armor of patience, it is said that the virtue of generosity and discipline accumulated over hundreds of kalpas can be destroyed by a single anger. Therefore, anger and resentment are said to be the most powerful of sins. Therefore, I will cultivate patience. There are two types of patience: enduring hardship and not thinking of harm. When listening and contemplating, even the difficulties of studying are thought of as purifying one's own obscurations for the sake of the teachings. Meeting lamas and visiting sacred mountains, and the difficulties of the Sangha for spreading empowerments and transmissions, and the difficulties of practicing retreats, etc., and empowerments, transmissions, and instructions, etc.
