The "miraculous feet" mentioned in between are also well quoted. Therefore, those who specifically say that all phenomena exist say that supernatural powers are only samadhi, and the feet are the four: desire, mind, diligence, and action. According to their view, this also contradicts the sutras. What is in accordance with the aspects of enlightenment also becomes thirteen things, because desire and mind are also in accordance with the aspects of enlightenment. Abiding in solitude means being separated from desire. Being free from attachment means transcending the realm. Cessation means ceasing suffering. Complete abandonment means abandoning the origin. Complete transformation means achieving liberation. The so-called "being devoted to one direction" refers to the object. The so-called "universal practice" refers to the object of focus. These should also be understood in immeasurables and the seven limbs of enlightenment, etc. The five faculties are from the "Distinguishing the Middle and the Extremes": "Generating what accords with the part of liberation, desire and application are able to control. Not forgetting the object and not regressing, also being skillful in making distinctions." Therefore, faith, diligence, mindfulness, samadhi, and wisdom are able to purify freely. The five powers are also these, the difference being that they are not overcome by opposing factors. As that treatise says: "Opposing factors are weakened, having power is the later result." Therefore, the faculties are small because opposing factors such as disbelief, laziness, forgetfulness, distraction, and non-intelligence arise in between and are overcome by opposing factors. The powers are great because they are not overcome by opposing factors. Their order is that if faith arises, then diligence is initiated for the sake of the result. If diligence is initiated, then mindfulness is present. If mindfulness is present, then the mind enters samadhi without distraction. If samadhi is entered, then one knows reality as it is. Among the seven limbs of enlightenment, enlightenment is the realization of the nature of reality, and a limb refers to a component here. The seven kinds of limbs are also as that treatise says: "The limb of self-nature, the limb of abiding, the third is the limb of renunciation."

The fourth is the branch of benefit. It is said that the three are the branches without affliction. Among them, the branch of self-nature is the most excellent discernment, for the sake of realizing suchness. The branch of abode is mindfulness, because wisdom abides in mindfulness. The branch of definite emergence is diligence, because from the lower grounds such as the ordinary person's ground, there is definite emergence. The branch of benefit is joy, because the uncontaminated bliss benefits body and mind. The branch without affliction is just from that, the statement "This has a basis and abode, and is shown as self-nature" appears, so it is extreme familiarity and samadhi and equanimity, because they are the antidote to the negative karma of affliction, so these three are respectively the basis, abode, and self-nature of non-affliction. Therefore, the Dharma of excellent discernment is both Bodhi and a branch, while others are branches of Bodhi, because they are retinues, just like saying it is the pill of Sthavira Godatta. The eightfold noble path is just from that, "Completely cutting off and making known, the three make others believe, the antidote to the unfavorable side, these are the eight branches of the path" is said. Among them, completely cutting off is right view, even in subsequent attainment, right view can definitely distinguish the realization of the time of equipoise. Making known is right thought and speech, because thinking together with the motivation of speech can make others know the meaning of realization. The branch that makes others believe is just from that, the statement "View and discipline and possessions are few, wanting to make others know" appears, so it is right speech and the end of action and right livelihood, because right speech can determine good words, not doing what should not be done, and seeking moderately such as Dharma clothes, so respectively it is view and discipline and possessions are reduced, wanting little and making others believe. The branch of the antidote to abandoning the unfavorable side is just from that, the statement "Affliction near affliction is free, the antidote to the unfavorable side" appears, so it is right effort and right mindfulness and right samadhi, the order of these three
