The path with attachment, and the preliminary of the path of detachment, such as the forbearance of knowledge of dharma and knowledge that focus on the first two truths. All of them are repulsive because they focus on objects of aversion, and the three paths such as the path of application are not paths of abandonment, and although the forbearance of knowledge of dharma that focuses on the first two truths, which is the preliminary of the path of detachment, is a path of abandonment, it has already been abandoned by the worldly path of meditation, and knowledge is not a path of abandonment. The subsequent forbearance of knowledge definitely abandons afflictions, because the worldly path does not separate from the attachment to the peak of existence. What will become detached from attachment but will not become averse is the uninterrupted path that directly abandons what is to be abandoned, focusing on the path of cessation, except for the forbearance of knowledge of dharma that focuses on the path of cessation, which is the preliminary of the path of detachment. Because they have already been abandoned by the worldly path of meditation, and other paths directly harm what is to be abandoned, and their object of focus is the object of extreme joy, viewing the unconditioned path of cessation as a virtue. What are both are the uninterrupted path that focuses on the first two truths, except for the forbearance of knowledge of dharma that focuses on the first two truths, which is the preliminary of the path of detachment. Because they focus on objects of aversion, and directly abandon afflictions. What are neither are the path of application, the path of liberation, and the distinguished path that focus on the path of cessation, and the forbearance of knowledge of dharma and knowledge that focus on the path of cessation, which is the preliminary of the path of detachment, and some uninterrupted paths in situations such as the transformation of faculties, which are uninterrupted paths but do not abandon afflictions. (If one who is detached from desire between the desire realm or the realm of nothingness observes the truths, then the forbearance of knowledge of dharma and so on will not abandon afflictions, because they have already been abandoned by the worldly path of meditation, and only the attainment of detachment and unconditioned birth remain. The subsequent knowledge and subsequent forbearance definitely abandon afflictions, because the worldly path does not separate from attachment to the peak of existence. The attachment of the once-returner)
