Regarding aggregates, they belong to the three: form aggregate of what is abandoned by cultivation in the desire realm, and the unpolluted. If the form aggregate of what is abandoned by cultivation in the desire realm is included by the continuum and is afflicted, then it becomes the object of the two co-emergent of the first two truths of its own ground of the desire realm, as well as what is abandoned by cultivation, the approximation of the first dhyana, the path of cultivation that is unpolluted, and the five consciousnesses. Among the five consciousnesses, the first three are proliferations, and the latter two are the path of cultivation that is polluted and unpolluted. Since it is not a proliferation, the eleven co-emergents of the first two truths and the four abandonments by cultivation, i.e., the fifteen proliferations, will increase. Know that for everything that is included by the continuum but is not afflicted, and everything that is not included by the continuum, only the four abandonments by cultivation increase. (Some say that the first two views that are not included by the continuum do not increase, and whether pride increases or not needs to be considered. For the form aggregate of the higher realms, it is also said that the fourteen proliferations of the realm based on anger increase, which is unreasonable. Because the form aggregate that is not included by the continuum is not afflicted, all co-emergents do not increase, and it is not contradictory that the abandonment of cultivation of pride increases by looking outward.) The mind is established as having proliferations, as it says in the commentary: Which proliferations cause the mind to be with proliferations, do those proliferations increase in that mind? Answer: There are also those that increase, i.e., the proliferations that are concordant with that mind, and have not been abandoned, and whose object has also not been abandoned. There are also those that do not increase, i.e., the proliferations that are concordant with that mind, but have been abandoned. Here, the mind is an example, i.e., the two of polluted concordance and non-concordance. Among them, the concordant afflicted having proliferations (having increase and non-increase), there are two situations. The first is the afflicted mind of ordinary beings, such as desire, etc., which increases and has both concordance and object. For the noble ones, although concordance has been abandoned, there are still cases of increasing and having by object, as it is said: Although what is abandoned by seeing the abandonment of suffering has been abandoned, it is still concordant with the remaining co-emergents; although the first aspect has been abandoned, it still has the remaining defilements of its object. The second is for the noble Arhats, the past afflicted mind and afflictions.

I exist together, just as a contaminated mind, which is not born in the future, exists together with contamination. Because those are possessed and will not increase. Although they do not increase, they are established as having subtle increase, because they used to increase when they were not abandoned, so says the Vaibhashika. This is a complete error for the tenet that establishes the three times as real. (The contaminated mind with subtle increase also has two aspects: increasing and not increasing. The first is being in accordance with afflictions and not abandoning the object of attachment to them. Therefore, by obtaining it, the mind stream becomes good, and on that stream, the cause of future similar causes is placed until then. The second is some that are separated from its attainment because the antidote has abandoned the subtle increase in accordance, which is only the past. If it is abandoned, how can that mind have subtle increase? Because it is in conjunction with afflictions, no antidote can separate the corresponding. Or, if it is said that it is possessed because it is attached by some unabandoned afflictions of one's own stream, it is good to say so.) Non-contaminated, non-corresponding (contaminated virtue and non-obscured unspecified) of one's own ground are all increased by attachment, so they are possessed of subtle increase. Because for them, it is impossible that the attachment of the afflictions of one's own ground does not increase. However, although the uncontaminated is attached by subtle increase, neither of them is increase. It should be understood that way. The eighth order is that due to complete ignorance of the object of the four truths, there is doubt as to whether the four truths are or are not. After doubt, from the wrong hearing and thinking of doubt, there arises the wrong view of slander that there is no truth. After the wrong view arises, because the aggregates are not understood as impermanent, there arises the view of the collection of destruction that clings to self. Then there is the view of clinging to extremes that sees the self as permanent and discontinuous. After the view of clinging to extremes arises, there is the view of holding precepts and vows as supreme, believing that what is clung to can be purified by it. Then, because of holding what is believed to be purified as supreme, there arises the view of holding views as supreme. Then there arises attachment and pride, which are attachment and pride to one's own views, and hatred arises to the views of others.
