It is considered to be "Nagi Chung-ngo." So, does that Bhikshu also become a Shramanera and a Upasaka? Although it is so, the reason for saying "Bhikshu" is because it is the main one. Just as an Arhat is a Bhikshu, but is also called an Arhat. These are the views of the Sthavira schools. In reality, what is important is that there is only one mind of renunciation, not different ones. Because two or three minds, etc., cannot arise simultaneously. The Upasampada ordination arises in the absence of the previous vow. Those of lower status obtain and relinquish through the power of acknowledging the difference in mind. However, because the Upasaka is included within the vows of the Shramanera, and both of the lower ones are included within the Bhikshu, it is said to be endowed with three vows. Secondly, in order to abide in the state of Upasaka (with refuge and the desire for liberation as prerequisites), one becomes an Upasaka by vowing to abandon the five things to be abandoned, which are killing, stealing, sexual misconduct, lying, and drinking alcohol. Similarly, "oneself" and "for the sake of" are also applied to Upavasa, etc. By vowing to abandon the eight things to be abandoned, which are killing, stealing, unchastity, lying, drinking alcohol, perfumes, garlands, unguents, dancing, singing, music (these are counted as one), high beds and large beds (these two are combined into one), and untimely food, one becomes an Upavasa. From these, touching dancing, singing, and music is counted as one, and perfumes, garlands, and unguents are counted as one, dividing them into two. Adding the acceptance of gold and silver, one becomes a Shramanera by vowing to abandon these ten things to be abandoned (previously, dancing, etc., and garlands, etc., were counted as one because it was thought that if there were too many precepts, lay people would become lazy, so in order to avoid this, it was simplified to one. The Vinaya says that if renunciants engage in dancing, etc., or maintain their livelihood through accumulation, the offense is great, so it points out these two offenses, as well as abandoning gold and silver). And the four Parajikas, the thirteen Sanghavasesas, the thirty Nissaggiya Pacittiyas, the ninety Pacittiyas, the four Patidesaniyas, and the one hundred and twelve Sekhiyas.
