First, explaining the nature of karma. First, explaining the nature of karma. In the first, there is also a brief explanation: So, what is this kind of karma that creates the world? It is said: (Common and individual) Karma is of two kinds: the karma of mind and the karma done by mind (i.e., initiated by it), and the karma of thought. Among them, the karma of mind is that which corresponds to consciousness (making consciousness move on the object of consciousness), and it is the mental event that manifests and fabricates the actions of body and speech, so it is the karma of mind. Mind, here, refers to the mind of the source of arising. (If the mind also becomes non-form, then non-form depends on dependent origination and does not depend on the mind. Karma is also said to depend on conditions, so it will not become a view of sole cause, and it is not only maturation, but the effect of the agent is more important. The two worlds are also accomplished by attachment to objects and the body.) The karma produced by the mind (the karma of thought) is the karma of body and the karma of speech, because these are initiated by the mind. Also, the karma of body is the karma that depends on the body, and speech is the very nature of speech itself is karma, and the karma of mind is considered karma because it is initiated by the mind. Those karmas of body and speech are of two kinds: form and non-form. The extensive explanation is divided into three parts: form, non-form, and explaining their differences. In the first, there are two kinds: the form of body and the form of speech. Among them, the form of body, the Vaibhashikas believe that it is a shape (substance established) that is different from the body of maturation (and the body of growth). Like this, if it is the body of maturation itself, then it is impossible for form to be good or bad, because that is unspecified. Therefore, at the time of prostration and so on, the form of the body is established as a shape, which exists from the crown of the head to the soles of the feet, and that is because the form is clear like light, and because it is contained in the gaps of the body of maturation, so it will not become larger or heavier, they think it is like fire entering a forest. (So, from the body of maturation, the substance is different and the same as it

If one is born into the form of the Saṃskāra body, then the Vipāka body will become larger than before. If the Vipāka body with gaps is directly absorbed into it, then wouldn't the Vipāka body become harder and heavier than before? The Saṃskāra body is clear like light, so it does not change. The characteristic is the shape aroused by the mind focused on it. When speaking, the lips move; when walking, the limbs move. Excluding things like the Teacher's lips being red like bimba fruit. In order, the movement of lips and limbs is not because of generating the mind focused on it with the thought of moving, but is incidental. Prostrations etc. are because of the mind arising with the thought of moving. The Teacher's lips are generated by aspiration, and not by generating the mind focused on it. That is what they think.) Regarding this meaning, the Sthavira school believes that the Saṃskāra of the body existing in another place does not disappear, but (because the body changes according to how the mind focuses, so the body itself) moves to another place (becoming Saṃskāra). (If the action of the body is the activity of the body, then it belongs to the movement of the body, not to the non-movement, therefore.) Because they do not consider other things besides mind and mental factors, sound, flame, lightning, and flowing water to be momentary (impermanent upon encountering the cause of destruction), they also consider other things to be the same. That is not reasonable, it is impossible for the shape of the body to move to another place without disappearing. Why? Because conditioned phenomena are moments of destruction as soon as they arise. This is also because of the argument that it is destroyed without other causes. An earlier proponent says that destruction without a cause is not possible, because the destruction of a pot depends on a hammer, and the destruction of cold depends on heat, etc. Then, does the so-called destruction mean that the pot etc. does not exist, or does it refer to something other than it, or does its own nature destroy it? In the first case, the hammer etc. are not the makers, because non-existence contradicts being made. The second case is also not true, because the pot etc. are not the cause of destruction. The third case is also not true, because the nature of destruction is produced from its own cause. If it is not produced, then destruction is not the nature of the pot etc.
