Because they want to cool down the suffering caused by things like that, they rush to be born in the hot and cold hells. Some former teachers, like Asanga, see beings who have killed and done other things in the past as if in a dream, and when they enter those beings, they are born in hell. The sutra says: How it changes, how it is felt, what was done before is like a dream, after seeing such beings, they will rush into hell. It is said that it was said like this. (So, if the accumulation of meat is like Mount Sumeru, where do the intermediate beings that form like a mountain of insects live before that meat appears? It is not that they stay there until it appears, but like this, there are countless intermediate beings that become insects, and when those intermediate beings meet the group of hot and cold that corresponds to their own birth, they will be born, and it is obvious that they do not necessarily have to be born from this group of hot and cold.) Among those intermediate beings, the shape of the intermediate being in hell is that it is bound by Yama's rope and only pulled together. The Sutra Showing Complete Suffering and Without Complete Suffering says: Those who have true precepts and firm vows, who slander the upright, those people will be in hell, only falling into hell. And the Garland of Jewels also says: In addition, if one is attached to this wrong view, a foolish person with the arrogance of a wise person, a person who abandons and has a bad nature, will only go to Avici Hell. Because it is said like this. Hungry ghosts and animals are like going down stairs. Humans are like walking on flat ground. (It is also said that hungry ghosts walk backwards.) Gods go upwards as if they were getting up from their seats. If the mind is confused, one will go to the place where prostitutes walk. Does everything that is said necessarily refer to everything that enters the womb? Not necessarily, because there is a distinction to be made, so the sutras and minor treatises say: Joyful one, there are four kinds of entering the womb, here, dwelling and birth are not entering the womb, but entering the womb is the main thing, so it is indicated by its name, the teacher and friend explained it like this. What are the four? One of them is knowingly entering the mother's womb. Dwelling and birth are unknown.
