There are five such as the view of aggregation, as well as the worldly right view, the view of the learner, and the view of the non-learner, making eight types in total. Among these, the first five are with afflictions, the sixth is virtuous with outflows, and the last two are without outflows, possessing the seed of what is to be abandoned by cultivation and without it. Therefore, when they view the objects of knowledge, they are, in order, (because there is no appearance of uncontaminated wisdom and is covered by the cloud of ignorance; because it only realizes the general mode of the four truths, without the cloud of wrong views; because there is no cloud of what is to be abandoned by seeing, but there is a cloud of what is to be abandoned by cultivation; and because there is no cloud of afflictive obscurations.) like looking at forms on cloudy and cloudless nights and days, they are unclear, slightly clear, very clear, and extremely clear. Worldly right view is only the virtuous with outflows, the wisdom that corresponds to the mind consciousness, not the wisdom that arises corresponding to the five consciousnesses such as the eye, that is, virtuous wisdom. How is it not worldly right view? (If asked: that is not) because (view) that must be conceptual, but those are not conceptual. Then, the eye would also become not a view, because it does not have conceptual thought. If you ask that, the eye is called a view because it sees forms, not because of conceptual thought. (Wisdom is not like that.) Do all eyes see? The eye that relies on consciousness (on obscurations) sees, but what corresponds to it does not. If that is the case, would only the consciousness that relies on the eye see? It is not only the consciousness that relies on that eye that sees, why? If consciousness sees, then it should be unobstructed, so it should also see objects that are blocked by walls, etc., but objects blocked by obstacles such as walls are not seen. The so-called 'year' is refuted by the Sutra School, even if consciousness sees, it will not enter all that is obscured, because when separated by (darkness, etc.) obscurations, consciousness does not arise because the causes are incomplete, and if the causes are complete, (plums and,) water and crystal and

Because even when obstructed by glass, etc., consciousness arises. (Although consciousness is unobstructed, it does not see the obstructed object because it depends on the appearing condition and attention, etc.) If so, then it contradicts the sutra which says, "The eye sees forms." This refers to the consciousness that relies on the eye to see, just like saying, "Call all the people." If the eye (sees form, in the way that each produces one eye-consciousness) does one see, or (alternatively) do two (in the way of producing one eye-consciousness) see? The eyes are both seeing form in the way of producing one (thing) consciousness, because it is not clear when looking with one eye, but when both eyes are opened and looked at, it is seen very clearly (and if only one eye sees, there will be the fault of no difference between before and after). There is also no fault of consciousness being interrupted because the support is interrupted (if you think so, there will be the fault of the same things disappearing because each consciousness thing is the same). Because consciousness is not a form, it does not abide in the object (and even a thousand eyes like Indra produce one eye-consciousness). The word "also" indicates that any one can see. If the eyes, etc., grasp after contacting the object (near and far are not reasonable), or (contact) is not (contact is not reasonable), then the three realms of eye, mind, and ear grasp without contacting the object (because they can see things obstructed by glass, etc.). Because one can see and hear distant forms and sounds, and the mind can also grasp the past, future, and distant things, and also because the mind is not a form. (The mind is not a form, so it does not contact the object, and the eye also grasps without contact. If it grasps after contact, then the eye medicine applied to the eye, etc., will also be seen, and distant forms will also be seen after a long time after contact. The eye should have the ability to walk, and distant things can be seen after a long time. Some say that because they hear the sound in the ear, the ear both contacts and does not contact, but if like this, the sound from the east, etc., comes here, it will have continuity, and if consciousness goes there, there will be the fault of separation from the body, so it is obvious that it does not contact.)
