This is because the ten grounds and consciousness are divided into seven realms to explain. The teacher (Gampel) believes that although it is difficult to understand the intentions of the Sugata, if speculated with conceptual thought, it seems like this: Being ignorant of mental factors is the smaller aspect of ignorance, because one is ignorant of subtle things and similar things. Being ignorant of form is the intermediate aspect of ignorance, because one is ignorant of coarse things and similar things. Being ignorant of both form and consciousness is the larger aspect of ignorance, because one is ignorant of all things, subtle and coarse, similar and dissimilar. Thus, by showing the aggregates, one can prevent the view of the perishable collection as a leader, and by preventing it, one can prevent the afflictions that take it as a leader. Furthermore, according to the ability of those with sharp faculties (understanding by mentioning the beginning), the five aggregates were taught (understanding the realms and sources incidentally). According to the ability of those with medium faculties (understanding if explained in detail), the twelve sources were taught (understanding the realms incidentally by showing the sources). According to the ability of the dull (accepting the literal meaning), the eighteen realms were taught (not understanding if not explained in detail). Furthermore, the three were also shown because of the three desires: those who practice calm abiding like concise words, those who practice both calm abiding and insight like medium words, and those who practice insight like extensive words. Therefore, in the Vibhasha it is said: "All the teachings of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are for the benefit of sentient beings, and are the antidote to afflictions, therefore they are necessary." Fourth, regarding the determination of number, why is it determined that there are only five aggregates? For the time being, for form and non-form, there is a determination of things. For non-form, it is determined as consciousness and non-consciousness. Non-form and non-consciousness are divided into feeling, perception, and formation. Furthermore, why are feeling and perception spoken of as separate aggregates from other mental factors? Feeling (and perception) is the root of the dispute between the two sides of householders (and renunciates) (the first of the three causes there is the root of the dispute).

Because of this, among the two, those who are particularly attached to desire and views, the basis of the disputes between householders and renunciants are, in order, water and fields, livestock, women, and the views of oneself and others. The main causes of these two are, in order, the manifest attachment to desire, wanting to taste the pleasure of feeling, and the inverted perception of recognizing the good and bad of one's own and others' views, wanting to establish and refute. Because of being particularly attached to desire (and views), (in order) wanting to taste the flavor of feeling, (and clinging to the characteristics of good and bad of one's own and others' tenets with inverted perception), therefore (for the sake of water and) fields and (livestock and women and) houses and wealth and (establishing one's own and others' sides and refuting), kings and kings, etc. (and renunciants and renunciants) argue. (It is also said that. In the sutra, the venerable Katyayana the Great, near the river of Varanasi, on the muddy bank with obscurations, a Brahmin holding a staff in his hand came and spoke various joyful words, sat down on one side, and said to Katyayana, Katyayana, by what cause and condition do kings and kings, farmers and farmers, Brahmins and Brahmins, householders and householders argue together? He said, Brahmin, because of attachment to desire, clinging, association, manifest desire, and complete attachment, kings argue with kings, and so on, between householders and householders. He said, Katyayana, if kings and kings argue together because of attachment to desire, then by what cause and condition do renunciants and renunciants argue together? He said, Brahmin, because of attachment to views, clinging, association, manifest desire, and complete attachment, renunciants and renunciants argue together. He said, Katyayana, if that is so, are there some who have completely transcended the attachment to desire and views up to complete attachment? He said, Brahmin, there is, my teacher, the Buddha Bhagavan, that is desire
