In the King of Tantras, it is said: 'Desire and non-desire, abiding at the end and the beginning, even for a moment pervade everything, and the number of breaths increases.' In the commentary, it says: 'From that moment, the characteristic of manifesting perfect enlightenment is: desire and non-desire, abiding at the end and the beginning.' Desire refers to the white aspect, and abiding at its end is the characteristic of one-sixteenth. Non-desire is the black aspect, and abiding at its beginning is not entering the black aspect, which is the characteristic of the time of manifesting perfect enlightenment. In that moment, the number of breaths also increases, that is, it increases by twenty-one thousand six hundred times. In the 'Secret Vajra Jewel Peak', it says: 'Increasing by three hundred and thirty-six moments, by killing the lives of that number, reaching the secret lotus, one becomes the second ground.' Similarly, the navel chakra, heart chakra, throat chakra, and forehead chakra respectively become the fourth ground, sixth ground, eighth ground, and tenth ground. In the crown chakra, all lives are exhausted, so it is the twelfth ground. It is said that from the fire of the inner heat of the navel chakra, the 'Hum' (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hum) syllable of the bindu of bodhicitta in the Brahma aperture melts and goes to the vajra jewel, which is the white aspect of desire. The end of the perfection of the white aspect is the co-emergent joy of one-sixteenth. Non-desire is the bodhicitta receding from the vajra jewel, which is the black aspect. Not entering into that, the bodhicitta bindu remains stable at the peak of the vajra jewel, which is the first moment of unchanging bliss. When one obtains it, one obtains the beginning of samadhi. At that time, the exhalation and inhalation of breath stop. In this way, when one thousand eight hundred breaths stop, and the wind of one time cycle stops, one thousand eight hundred moments of great bliss increase, and the bodhicitta bindu remains stable in half of the wheel of the secret place, and one obtains the first ground. Then, the wind of two time cycles stops, and two one thousand eight hundred moments of unchanging bliss increase, and the bodhicitta bindu remains stable in the wheel of the secret place, and one obtains the second ground. In this way, one obtains the fourth ground in the navel chakra, the sixth ground in the heart chakra, the eighth ground in the throat chakra, and the tenth ground in the forehead chakra. Then, twenty-one thousand six hundred breaths, all the winds of twelve time cycles stop, and twenty-one thousand six hundred moments of unchanging bliss are perfected, and the bodhicitta bindu remains stable in the wheel of the crown chakra. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

By perfecting the limbs of Prajñā-samādhi (wisdom samadhi), one will attain mastery over the twelve Bhumis (grounds). Here, the names of the twelve Bhumis are: The Beautiful Ground of the Great Mandala of All-Illuminating Sun, The Luminous Ground of the Great Nectar Light Moon, The Ground of Sky Light Abiding Thoroughly Like the Sky, The Delightful Ground of Vajra Light, The Ground of Abhisheka (empowerment) of Precious Light, The Ground of Holding the Stainless Dharma of Pure Nature of Lotus Light, The Ground of Performing Buddha Activities, The Ground of Incomparability, The Ground of Thoroughly Realizing the Example of All Examples, The Supreme Ground of Wisdom Light, The Ground of Great Clear Light of Omniscience, The Ground of Perfecting the Wisdom of the Individual Self-Awareness Yogin. It is said that these have places and nearby places, fields and nearby fields, Tsaṅdo-ha (charnel grounds) and nearby Tsaṅdo-ha, assemblies and nearby assemblies, cemeteries and nearby cemeteries, blood-drinking places and nearby blood-drinking places. From the Supreme First Buddha (Paramādi-buddha) it is said: '(By meditating on the path of sixfold union) the twelve links of dependent origination cease, (the winds in the body) the twelve junctures do not descend (i.e., cease). (Therefore) these grounds are known as twelve places (and nearby places), and the ultimate (truths are attained).' This is how to meditate on the Great Bliss Samadhi. From the root tantra, the Supreme First Buddha (Paramādi-buddha) it is said: '(First, with the limbs of gathering individually) meditate on smoke and so forth (at the end of the ten signs, various empty forms), (with contemplation) make the mind unwavering, (of life-force) having trained the central channel, (by holding the wind unmoving, the great seal) meditate on the supreme unchanging (wisdom). (At the time of recollection, the wisdom) lotus vajra having well arranged, (because the fierce fire blazes) life (and downward-clearing combined) enter (the Hūṃ syllable at the crown) into the bindu (in the manner of seizing, into the Avadhūti). (Thus, with the fierce fire, the bodhicitta Hūṃ at the crown having melted the bindu) the bindu of the wheel bindus (having gone to the center of the wheels), the wavering vajra (jewel) should be stopped. (Relying on that) the yogi of constant erect signs.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
