With the truth of the vows and the assembly of the ocean of Dharma protectors, and with the truth of the words of the Buddha, the power of secret mantras, knowledge mantras, dharani mantras, heart mantras, mudras, and samadhi, I beseech the Naga King Madrotsi Chen (Unwarmed Radiant One), who dwells in the sky, space, and earth, along with his retinue of eight great Nagas, the Naga King and Queen, ministers and consorts, Naga sons and daughters, Naga servants and attendants, and all the lords of mountain deities and tribal rains, to come into this image before me! Nāga rāja māraya hūṃ jaḥ! According to this ritual, Samaya hūṃ jaḥ! Repeat the supplication and summoning many times. Oṃ vajra pāṇi kīlaya nāga sarva nāga vighnan hana hana hūṃ phaṭ! Recite this mantra and insert the kīla (ritual dagger).
