In all directions and times, whatever supreme forms exist, with devoted faith, I offer forms to the deities of reliance. Please accept them, may I quickly attain unsurpassed enlightenment. Om Sarva Tathagata Rupa Kama Guna Pujiti Ah Hum. (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Literal Chinese Meaning) Likewise, in all directions and times, whatever qualities, excellent words, and melodious sounds, whether attained or not, exist, with devoted faith, I offer sounds to the deities of reliance. Please accept them, may I attain unsurpassed enlightenment. Om Sarva Tathagata Shabda Kama Guna Pujiti Ah Hum. (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Literal Chinese Meaning) In all directions and times, sandalwood, snake heart, agarwood, black agarwood, etc., whatever satisfies the senses, with devoted faith, I offer scents to the deities of reliance. Please accept them, may I attain unsurpassed enlightenment. Om Sarva Tathagata Gandhe Kama Guna Pujiti Ah Hum. (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Literal Chinese Meaning) In all directions and times, whatever tastes and essences exist, whatever supreme tastes nourish body and mind, with devoted faith, I offer food to the deities of reliance. Please accept them, may I attain unsurpassed enlightenment. Om Sarva Tathagata Rasa Kama Guna Pujiti Ah Hum. (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Literal Chinese Meaning) In all directions and times, whatever soft, gentle, and clinging sensations exist, whatever distinctions of touch satisfy body and mind, with devoted faith, I offer clothing to the deities of reliance. Please accept them, may I attain unsurpassed enlightenment. Om Sarva Tathagata Sparsha Kama Guna Pujite Ah Hum. (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Literal Chinese Meaning) Thus it is said. The important key to understand in these instances is: In the case of form, offer houses, dwellings, horses, cattle, sheep, lamas, etc., vajra bells, offering sets, and other implements of lamas. To people, offer weapons; to women, offer mirrors, precious jewelry. To children, offer toys, etc., whatever items each person needed when they were alive. In the case of sound, offer the sound of Dharma, both definitive and interpretable, music of song, dance, and instruments, words of praise, and pleasant speech. In the case of scent, offer camphor, nutmeg, sandalwood, snake heart, etc., as well as white sandalwood, red sandalwood, agarwood, black agarwood, saffron, grass incense, water incense, and various other fine incense powders. Long sticks of blended incense. In the case of taste, offer the three whites, the three sweets, meat, butter, tsampa, tea, alcohol, milk, yogurt, and various other foods and drinks. In the case of touch, offer silks and satins, various kinds of fabrics, various kinds of outer skins, hats, clothes, belts, shoes, cushions, etc., one must visualize in this way. Regardless of whether the deceased is of high or low status, they all belong to the eaters of scent, so it is sufficient to offer scent in a ritually pure manner, nothing else is needed.

It is very important to light a fire near the corpse that has no right to use anything, or in any appropriate place, and to carefully release the smoke from the burning of the food. In general, whether the deceased can receive the desired offerings, whether they can understand the Dharma teachings, and whether there is any benefit, all depend on the magnitude of the bodhicitta of the transferrer and the ritual performer, whether the vows and samayas are pure, and whether the visualization of the generation stage and completion stage is clear. Whether the patrons have arrogance and miserliness towards the food, wealth, and enjoyment to be offered and given, and the extent of their faith, all depend on these factors. Therefore, in this situation, all offerers and recipients should not be controlled by the five poisons and three poisons such as greed, hatred, and resentment. All thoughts, actions, and deeds should be aimed at the benefit of sentient beings and the liberation of the deceased. The Great Orgyen said, "Sharp visualization is the weapon of a yogi." Therefore, the ritual and Dharma practice should be recited purely, the arrangements should be made, and the visualization sequence should be done to the best of one's ability without hypocrisy. When passing from this world to another world, may the deceased so-and-so have the fortune to enjoy all the qualities of desire without attachment or greed, with beautiful forms in sight, pleasant sounds in the ears, fragrant smells in the nose, sweet tastes on the tongue, and soft touches on the body. Then, the teaching of the path purification is: In the precious and glorious pure land, born from precious jewels, with the light of precious jewels, the precious garland is completely pure, the path of accumulation and the path of union, the path of seeing and the path of meditation, the unsurpassed and excellent path, the path of enlightenment without obstacles, on the path of complete liberation, relying on it to purify all sins, may you be liberated on that noble path.
