In the southwest direction outside of you, there is a heavenly gathering place called "Good Dharma." Its width is three hundred yojanas, and its height exceeds you. Inside, there is Indra's golden throne, as well as the thrones of the Fish Kings. Because there are activities of power and near power. On the eighth and fifteenth of each month, they, along with the Four Great Kings, observe and patrol the good and non-good deeds done by sentient beings in Jambudvipa. The second is the place not connected to the earth. It is written: "Above it are the palaces of the gods." Knowable dharma, has such attributes: there are places not connected to the earth. Because above the Thirty-three Heavens, there are the six desire realms such as the Non-Contention Heaven, and the seventeen places of the form realm such as the Great Brahma Heaven. What do these places depend on? They depend on various kinds of wind and cloud formations. The third is the characteristics of sentient beings, including the ways of engaging in desire, the ways of heavenly beings being born, and the differences in happiness. The first is: There are six ways of engaging in desire. "Two by two embracing and holding hands, laughing and gazing are sexual intercourse." It is written above. The upper two do not engage in desire, and the six desire realms have such attributes: you have ways of engaging in desire. Because above you, in order, the two gods of the Thirty-three Heavens and the Four Great Kings engage in desire like humans, joining their two organs. The Non-Contention Heaven merely embraces, the Tushita Heaven merely holds hands, the Nirmanarati Heaven merely laughs, and the Paranirmitavasavartin Heaven merely gazes, and they enjoy the pleasure of sexual intercourse. The lower two, although they engage like humans, there are also differences. Because they do not have veins, intestines, etc., they only produce temporary wind from the sexual organs, and no semen or blood is produced. The second is: "Children from five to ten years old, those born there, are all fully clothed." It is written above. The desire realm has a way of children being born: whether a boy or a girl appears on the lap of a male or female deity, they are considered their son or daughter. Because
