Similarly, a Bodhisattva who is skilled in wisdom also single-mindedly abides in a state of equanimity like the true emptiness of the sky. It is in order to pacify and abandon the conceptualizations of grasping at forms that are part of one's own lot. For example, in the midst of many people, a magician performs various illusions such as horses and cattle, and those illusions do not think, 'I should please these spectators,' but they do bring about pleasure. Also, although one sees a magician vividly displaying various magical transformations such as people, horses, and cattle from pebbles and pieces of wood, those magical apparitions do not have actual bodies or minds of people, horses, etc., and the names of those people, horses, etc., do not truly apply to them, nor are they something that exists later. Similarly, when a Bodhisattva is practicing the Perfection of Wisdom in meditative equipoise, he does not think, 'I will attain enlightenment and liberate all beings.' In the post-meditation state of a Bodhisattva, although he displays various births of gods and humans, many activities, and illusions, he does not conceptualize them as being truly existent, and he acts without coarse effort. For example, the emanation of a Buddha accomplishes the deeds of a Buddha by teaching the Dharma, etc., but in doing so, he does not develop even a slight amount of pride or arrogance. Similarly, a Bodhisattva who is skilled in wisdom also displays all activities like an illusion, but he does not develop arrogance. Furthermore, for example, a skilled carpenter or craftsman makes a figure resembling a man or woman, and that figure also performs all actions without conceptualization. Similarly, a Bodhisattva who is skilled in wisdom also performs all actions with wisdom, without the conceptualizations of coarse effort. Thus, many hosts of gods bow down to those Bodhisattvas who are skilled in practice, with their palms joined together. Moreover, all the Buddhas in the ten directions of the world also completely utter strings of praise for the qualities of that Bodhisattva. For example, in a field equal to the number of grains of sand in the Ganges River, all sentient beings that exist are completely taken

Everything becomes demons, and even if from each pore of those demons, as many demons as that were emanated, all of those would not be able to obstruct that learned Bodhisattva. Because of four causes, that learned Bodhisattva possesses strength that cannot be overcome by others, therefore the four demons are difficult to overcome and cannot be moved. What are the four? They are realizing emptiness directly and abiding in it, and completely not abandoning compassion for all sentient beings, and acting as the Buddha has spoken, and being blessed by the Tathagatas. Therefore, when explaining the Prajnaparamita, the mother of the Thus-gone ones, if any Bodhisattva generates faith and strives diligently with firm resolve, then it should be known that that certain Bodhisattva has entered into omniscience itself. That Bodhisattva, having meditated in the Dharmadhatu Suchness which is like space, will not abide with true clinging. For example, just as clouds in the sky abide in space without any other support, similarly, in emptiness which is like space, one abides in the manner of not truly abiding. One is able to abide in this way, just as some mantra holders, without any support for abiding, move and abide in space by means of the illusion of wind, just as by the power of mantra, flowers bloom in space out of season, and one blesses them to arise. That learned Bodhisattva who acts in this way, a wise person does not fixate on what is cognized and what is apprehended as if fabricated, and also will not truly fixate on the Dharmas of the Buddhas to be entered into. One also does not truly fixate on the superimpositions made by the conceptual thought of the one who explains and holds, and on the conceptual thoughts that desire Dharma and serve as metaphors. In short, this shows that one should not generate true clinging to any Dharma of grasper and grasped. Abiding in this way is the place that desires the peace of non-abiding Nirvana, and rejoices in obtaining qualities such as strength. This is explained in the Ornament of Clear Realization by "entering and reversing," and so forth. After that, there are also many Sutras of the Mother that explain the three causes of the path of seeing and the peak application of the path of seeing, but here, the liberation of the Arhat is not elaborated.
