The perfection of giving. Therefore, if one knows the three circles of giving as truly empty, it is said that it will become a transcendent perfection, which is made under the authority of manifest realization. Even giving that manifestly realizes the three as truly empty is not necessarily transformed into the perfection of giving, because the Hearers and Solitary Realizers have the manifest knowledge of the three circles of giving in their own continuum as truly empty. The later Great Commentary says: Even if it is not grasped by wisdom, it is established as definitely going to the other shore because it is grasped by dedicating it to the Great Enlightenment, therefore it will be able to obtain the name of the perfection of giving. This clearly stated explanation also refers to the prior generation of the mind of enlightenment. It is said that just as this explanation of giving is applied, the remaining five perfections should also be applied as appropriate. It says in that very text: With the explanation of giving, one should also apply the mind of enlightenment, dedication, and being grasped by wisdom, either individually or both, to ethics and so on. Because it is said that the meaning of the word "perfection" is: to cause one to go to the other shore of the ocean of samsara, or to combine it with any of those who have already gone to the other shore. Those who have already gone to the other shore are in the state of Buddhahood. The commentary on the Entering the Middle Way says: The other shore is the shore on the other side of the ocean of samsara, which is the very nature of the Buddhas, who possess the abandonment of all defilements and obscurations of knowledge. As it is said. Second, the perfection of ethics: There are four aspects of ethics, such as the ethics of ethics: there is no fault of transgression in the ethics of ethics that has been correctly taken and not taken, the ethics are completely pure, and the strength of guarding the ethics without arrogance of true attachment to the three circles of ethics, may the perfection of ethics be completely fulfilled. The ethics that have been taken are those who have taken the vows of individual liberation, bodhisattva, and secret mantra, and the ethics that have not been taken are those who have not actually taken the vows, but have abandoned the ten non-virtues and other natural transgressions. Both those who have entered and those who have not entered the teachings have them. Even if a minor transgression occurs, it is a fault of ethics, but the fault of immoral conduct is regarded as something like defeat. A minor transgression occurs

It is not appropriate to maintain discipline only in a small amount. The three circles are also included, as it says, "Who abandons what, where?". That is, who abandons and protects, what is abandoned and protected, and for what is it abandoned and protected. The perfection of discipline also has two aspects, past and future, as before. Third, the perfection of patience, there are four situations such as earth or water. Tāranātha says, "Earth" refers to patience that does not care about harm, and "fire" refers to patience that accepts suffering. For the conventional truth, its focus is like water; for the ultimate truth, its focus is like wind. Some explain that patience is like earth, water, fire, and wind, unshaken by the harm of others and the suffering of asceticism. The mind of patience does not abide in any extreme of clinging to characteristics, becoming like the sky. However, the external earth, water, fire, and wind, these four elements, can endure even if harmed by others, and they have no hatred or attachment to anything else. Similarly, patience can also endure harm and does not abide with hatred towards any sentient beings. If it is said in this way, I think it is appropriate. Here, the meaning of non-abiding and the way of combining with space are not clear. If it is to be combined, it must be combined with the four elements. For example, the phrase "non-abiding like the wind element", because the previous three (earth, water, fire) should also be combined. By practicing such patience, may we perfect the perfection of patience in a way that has no anger. This mainly talks about patience that does not care about harm. Fourth, the perfection of diligence, that is, the four sentences such as "initiating diligence". The diligence of initiating diligence is to proceed with constant diligence during practice. This includes the steadfast armor-like diligence that is not shaken by harm, and the respectful diligence that is happy to do good deeds. Without the laziness of slackening diligence, and the diligence of non-retrogression, striving with a strong body and mind, may we perfect the perfection of diligence. Fifth, the perfection of meditation, like an illusion
