etc., are four lines. Regarding meditation, in general, the ordinary person's level has calm abiding, etc. Here, it is prayed that the main meditations of the high path, such as the illusion-like samadhi, the heroic-going samadhi, and the vajra samadhi, through these three, may the perfection of meditation be completely fulfilled. It is said that all three of these samadhis are obtained from the tenth bhumi. The first two samadhis are subsequent attainment focused on the conventional, and the latter is one that is included in meditative equipoise focused on reality. In the sutra of the illusion-like samadhi, it says that a person who obtains that samadhi understands all phenomena as illusions, thereby gaining control, and has the power to manifest whatever he desires, which is described as a special samadhi that can transform at will. The heroic-going samadhi is also similar to the former, but if one enters into that samadhi, whatever form one desires to tame and see, it will appear in that form's essence. For example, if one desires to tame and see with the form of a Buddha or a deity, it will appear in the form of a Buddha or a deity. Similarly, when taming with the forms of beings such as demons and animals, it will appear in that form's essence, which is a special samadhi. In the context of mantra, in the Chakrasamvara aspiration prayer, it says, "The heroic-going samadhi itself," the meaning of which is the samadhi of union, and "On one atom, there are atoms as many," also refers to the attainment of the body of union, thus it refers to having such abilities. It is said that being able to act like a Buddha in the subsequent attainment from the tenth bhumi is also due to the power of obtaining this samadhi. Some believe that these two samadhis are on the eighth bhumi, although the corresponding ones are there, but in reality, the sutra itself says that they are obtained from the tenth bhumi. The meaning of heroic-going is that when a hero goes to battle, the army goes with its four limbs, and when a universal monarch goes, it is the same, and the seven precious things also follow. Similarly, if one obtains this samadhi, all the Buddha's teachings will also follow, thereby becoming glorious.

As explained in the Sutra of Indeterminate Absorption. The Vajra-like Samadhi is the samadhi included in the path of attaining Buddhahood or the uninterrupted path of continuity. Just as the vajra in the hands of Vajrapani and Indra is hard, stable, unbreakable, and cannot be destroyed by others, and just as that vajra can crush mountains and rocks into powder when struck against them, similarly, the Vajra-like Samadhi of continuity cannot be destroyed or obstructed by any opposing forces. It is called that because it can effortlessly destroy all obscurations, including habitual tendencies. Sixth, the Perfection of Wisdom has four aspects, including the doors of liberation. Although there are two types of three doors of liberation, common and uncommon, here, according to the latter, the door of liberation that directly realizes the emptiness of the nature of conditioned phenomena is emptiness; the door of liberation that directly realizes the emptiness of the cause is signlessness; and the door of liberation that directly realizes the emptiness of the result is wishlessness. These are the three doors of liberation. There are also explanations that combine the three bases, paths, and results with the dharmas of the three times. Here, it refers to the realization that the nature of phenomena, the three causes and results, are not established by their own characteristics, and it is related to the teaching combined with the three doors of liberation. The three times are the past, future, and present, knowing their nature as the equality of emptiness. As stated in the Ornament of Clear Realization: "Because of knowing the equality of all times, it is considered the Perfection of Wisdom." The three knowledges are the knowledge of remembering past lives, which is knowing the occurrences of past lives of oneself and others; the knowledge of death and rebirth, which is knowing the death and rebirth of oneself and others; and the knowledge of the exhaustion of defilements, which is knowing the means of exhausting defilements and the nirvana of their exhaustion. The knowledge of the exhaustion of defilements in nirvana is the actualization and knowledge of that. The categories of these names are the knowledge of the previous limit, the later limit, and the exhaustion of defilements, which have the same meaning. By directly achieving such three knowledges, the Perfection of Wisdom is completely perfected.

May it be complete! Third, the concluding section has two parts: the actual text, and how Maitreya's aspiration, made in the past, was fulfilled. The first is: "All Buddhas," etc., four lines. Regarding its meaning, Tāranātha explained: "The Dharmakāya praised and extolled by all Buddhas, the radiant Sambhogakāya, and the glorious Nirmāṇakāya." Zhalu Yeshe Gyatso explained it differently, combining the three—praise, radiance, and glory—with the praise of the aspiration itself. As for me, I think that in the lifetimes when learning the conduct of a Bodhisattva, may I be praised by all Buddhas, obtain a special body endowed with radiance and glory, and at that time, with the great power of the Bodhisattva's strength and diligence, may I completely fulfill the wishes of myself and others. I think that would be in accordance with the intention. The second is: "Having practiced thus," etc., four lines. As mentioned above, having practiced the practice of the six perfections in this way, through that door, the one who is famous by the name Maitreya has completely perfected all six pāramitās, and having dwelt and progressed through the Bodhisattva grounds from the first to the tenth, now he has attained dwelling on the tenth ground. If you think that even though the six perfections are complete, the ten grounds are not complete, the ten grounds are also complete. The perfection of skillful means is included in the four, generosity, etc., strength is meditation, and the perfection of wisdom is connected as a friend to the perfection of prajñā, which is the intention of the commentary on the sutras. The name Maitreya, in the past, when he was the venerable monk Lodrö Tänpa, relied on the samādhi of loving-kindness and established immeasurable beings in loving-kindness. From that time on, the name Maitreya was constantly established. Now, saying that he is a Bodhisattva dwelling on the tenth ground is only referring to holding that aspect. In terms of the actual state of affairs, based on many reasons relying on other scriptures, it can be established that the venerable Maitreya is a Buddha. Later, in the Great Exposition of the Stages of Mantra, he is also described as a Buddha, and
