May all those sins of the three doors that obstruct the non-forgetting and increasing of the mind, and all those collections that have become obstacles to the arising of the realizations of the stages of the path, be completely purified. The third section is the aspiration of uncontaminated conduct: four lines such as karma and afflictions. When training in the conduct of Bodhi, may I be liberated from the non-virtuous actions of the three doors, and from afflictions such as attachment, and from the works of demons that obstruct the Dharma, as explained in the Mother Tantra. Moreover, not just in one place, but wherever they appear, in the places of worldly beings, may I conduct myself without being contaminated by karma, afflictions, and the works of demons. For example, just as a lotus grows in water but is not contaminated by water and mud, and just as the circles of the sun and moon move in the sky without obstruction, may I conduct myself without being contaminated by those faults. The former example shows that even if born in samsara, one will not be contaminated by the faults of samsara; the latter example shows that one will not be attached to the qualities of samsara. This is the special characteristic of a Bodhisattva acting for the benefit of sentient beings in samsara. The fourth section is the aspiration for the happiness and benefit of sentient beings: four lines such as the extent of the field. May all the sufferings of sentient beings in the vast expanse of the Buddha-fields and in all the ten directions, such as the sufferings of the lower realms, be pacified, and may I place all beings in the happiness of higher realms of gods and humans, and guide all beings with a beneficial mind to attain the state of definite goodness. The fifth section is the aspiration of armor: four lines such as Bodhi conduct. In order to first ripen one's own continuum, to perfect the conduct of the six perfections, etc., which become the cause of great Bodhi, and in order to ripen others, to know the dispositions and thoughts of the beings to be tamed, and in order to tame them by any means, I wear the armor that corresponds to my own conduct. Here, it can also be as it is said, "to make their actions conform to one's own actions." Having put on such armor, I will perform good and virtuous actions for the beings to be tamed.

These (Bodhisattvas) are skilled at fully demonstrating (the Bodhisattva conduct). May I, in this way, practice without weariness in all future kalpas. That's all. Although the earlier and later treatises explain the five armors, they can be summarized into three points: complete conduct, engaging in accordance with the conduct of sentient beings, and demonstrating the excellent Dharma. The sixth section is the aspiration to meet friends with equal fortune: "My conduct" etc., one verse. Not only that, may I always be accompanied, life after life, by those good friends whose conduct is the same as my good deeds. Here, there are two views on whether the word "also" is present or not. What should be done after being accompanied? May I and my friends, with our body, speech, and mind, for the sake of Bodhi, engage in practice and aspirations in a unified manner. The seventh section is the aspiration to meet virtuous friends: "Benefit me" etc., four lines. Not only that, may I always meet those friends who wish to benefit me in the short and long term, those virtuous friends, those who are skilled at fully demonstrating the conduct of Bodhi. After meeting, may I never go against the minds of those virtuous friends, may I not disappoint them. This is how it is said in the Indian commentaries. Some people think that "friend" does not refer to the virtuous friend, but to the friend of the virtuous friend, but this is not correct. The eighth section is the aspiration to make offerings to the manifest Buddha: "Sons of the Buddha" etc., four lines. May I always see with my own eyes the protectors, the Buddhas, surrounded by the sons of the Buddha, the Bodhisattvas, without being hidden. Not only that, may I, in this way, in all future kalpas, without weariness, make extensive offerings to those Buddhas with various offerings. The ninth section is the aspiration to uphold the sacred Dharma: "The Buddhas" etc., four lines. May I, with the unfailing dharani,
