These are the specific limitless prayers for engaging in Bodhi, that is, whatever excellent deeds have been done, I will completely accomplish all of them. When will this be? After attaining perfect enlightenment through good and virtuous conduct. The second part has two points: praying to learn from Samantabhadra and Manjushri. The first point is: Among the sons of all Buddhas, the Bodhisattvas, the one who is the chief and most excellent in terms of qualities, who has become the eldest son, whose name is Samantabhadra, the scholar known in all directions, in order to practice the conduct of Bodhi like him, I dedicate all these virtues, including the virtues mentioned above. How does Samantabhadra dedicate? He dedicates in a way that is free from all faults of the three doors, in an instant, even with one body, he can fill all Buddha-fields, and with countless bodies, he can fill many fields simultaneously, his body is completely pure; with one voice, he can teach the Dharma in accordance with the languages of beings, his speech is completely pure; not only that, but his mind, which can directly see all Dharmas in an instant, is also completely pure; the great deeds of the Bodhisattvas, such as the six perfections, are also completely pure and free from faults; and the fields where he attains enlightenment and shows the way to enlightenment are also dedicated to becoming pure lands that are more excellent than Sukhavati or Abhirati. Like that scholar known as Samantabhadra, may I also become the same as him. Here, in Shakya Mitra's commentary, it is said that Bodhisattvas are divided into two types: those with great desire and those without great desire. Those with great desire are those who pray to quickly attain Buddhahood and benefit all beings, like Maitreya; those without great desire are those who, even if they have completed the accumulations, do not attain Buddhahood, but after placing all beings on the ground of Buddhahood in the form of a Bodhisattva, they themselves attain Buddhahood, like Samantabhadra. This is about the arrangement of Manjushri's field.

From the Sutra of འི་, it seems that we should follow the statement that Maitreya (བྱམས་པ་) is a bodhisattva with great desire and Manjushri (འཇམ་དཔལ་) is not a bodhisattva with great desire. However, that is the common rule of the Paramita Vehicle. As for the state of the actual objects of our own school, even if Samantabhadra (ཀུན་བཟང་) and Manjughosha (འཇམ་དབྱངས་) have already attained Buddhahood, they still need to be explained as holding the form of bodhisattvas. I can establish this with many scriptural and logical proofs, so I will leave it at that. According to the Sutra school, it is also said in that very sutra that Manjushri has perfected the ten powers, etc., which shows that he has actually attained Buddhahood, but it is only slightly hidden. Secondly, in order to practice the excellent conduct of virtue at all times and in all ways, I will practice the same kind of aspiration as the noble Manjushri. How long will it last? Until all future kalpas, in a way that is not tiring. Is it just practicing one aspect of conduct? No, I will perfect all the deeds of Manjushri. Here, some people think that it is generally talking about the practice of the path, but it needs to be examined. What is Manjushri's aspiration? When Manjushri was once a king named Empty, for those cycles of existence without end, for as long as the beginning of the past, for that long, for the benefit of sentient beings, I will practice immeasurable conduct. And so on, making great aspirations. The sixteenth section, aspiring in a condensed way, is the four lines beginning with "Conduct, etc." The limit of the conduct that I practice for the sake of enlightenment should not become just this much. Similarly, may the qualities of clairvoyance, miraculous powers, samadhi, dharani, eloquence, etc., also become limitless. Thus, abiding in limitless conduct and qualities, may I know and attain all the manifestations of miraculous powers, etc., of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Here, writing འས་ཕུལ་བའི་ཁ་ as འཁྲུལ་ is a writing error. Secondly, what is the measure of how much aspiration to make? The four lines beginning with "As far as the end of space, etc." How much should the measure of the aspiration of excellent conduct be made? As much as the measure of the endlessness of space, and similarly, as the number of all sentient beings is endless, and as the white and black karma and afflictions accumulated by sentient beings

Just as that is boundless, so too is the extent of my aspiration for excellent conduct immeasurable. This passage indicates that this aspiration prayer encompasses all the great aspects of Mahayana practice aspirations. The third is the concluding sequence, starting from "Any of the ten directions," etc. This has two parts: the benefits of making the aspiration prayer and the dedication of the roots of virtue generated. The first point is further divided into two parts: elaborately explaining the benefits and presenting them concisely. The first part is again divided into two parts: the benefits that arise in this life and the benefits that arise in future lives. The first part has four aspects: accumulating merit, abandoning evil destinies and negative companions and seeing the Thus-Gone One, meeting virtuous individuals with shared karma, and the benefits of purifying karmic obscurations. The first point is: Any being who adorns the infinite Buddha fields of the ten directions with gold, silver, and other precious jewels and offers them to the Buddhas. Moreover, even the best of the enjoyments of gods and humans, such as food, drink, and clothing, are offered to the Buddhas for as many eons as there are dust particles in the Buddha fields. Even more than that merit, if another person hears this King of Aspirations, remembers its meaning, greatly admires the supreme, unsurpassed Bodhi, and makes many aspirations, or even just once generates faith and aspiration in this way, then the merit of this aspiration is superior to the other merits like the former, becoming more excellent, more principal, and most supreme. The reason is that this aspiration prayer contains the wondrous deeds of the Buddhas and their heirs. If one makes aspirations with sincere intention in accordance with that meaning, then one will certainly become a member of the Mahayana lineage. Even if one has not previously generated the mind of enlightenment, it will quickly arise, and if it has already arisen, then that mind will become stable and increase, and one will quickly attain enlightenment. Here, one might wonder why this aspiration prayer is called a dedication. This is because dedication and aspiration do not conflict. That is, those aspirations that transform the merit to be dedicated into perfect enlightenment are dedications.
