Because there is no establishment of the inverted one. If the inverted one were established before that, then it would be unreasonable to have the act of inversion again. It is also impossible for a person who has not become inverted to have inversions, and if they did, it would follow that the Buddha would also have inversions. It is also impossible for the inverted to have self-nature inversion, because there is no such thing as inversion as a part, except for the disappearance and unsaid of the act of inversion. In that case, on what basis could there be self-nature inversion? Examine yourself with impartial wisdom, and you can be sure that there is no self-nature. The third is: If inverted phenomena are not born, how can they exist? If inverted phenomena are unborn, where are those with inversion? Things do not arise from themselves, nor do they arise from others. If they do not arise from themselves and others, where are those with inversion? That's what it says. Furthermore, if the objects of inversion are not born of themselves, how can they exist by nature? They cannot. If inverted phenomena are not born of themselves, then how can the person with inversion be established by nature? Because it doesn't exist. The reason is that things do not arise from themselves, nor do they arise from others. Nor do they arise from the aggregation of self and other. Therefore, because inversion has no self-nature, the person with inversion also has no self-nature. The third is: If self, purity, permanence, and happiness exist, then self, purity, permanence, and happiness are not inverted. If self, purity, permanence, and happiness do not exist, then non-self, impurity, impermanence, and suffering do not exist either. That's what it says. If self, purity, permanence, and happiness exist by their own nature, then these self, purity, permanence, and happiness are not inverted, just like non-self. If self, purity, permanence, and happiness do not exist by their own nature, then non-self, impurity, impermanence, and suffering are also not self-existent, because if there is nothing to be refuted, then refuting it cannot be truly existent.

In short, the fourth point is: In this way, when perverted misapprehension ceases, ignorance will cease. When ignorance ceases, actions and so on will also cease. As previously explained, it is very important to investigate. In this way, because the yogi does not perceive perverted misapprehension, perverted misapprehension will cease, and when it ceases, ignorance, which is its cause, will also cease. When ignorance ceases, all parts of existence, such as actions, will cease. The second point is: If some afflictions exist by their own nature, how can they be eliminated? Who can eliminate what exists? If some afflictions do not exist by their own nature, how can they be eliminated? Who can eliminate what does not exist? If it is thought that the elimination of afflictions exists by its own nature, then afflictions also exist by their own nature, which is unreasonable. If some people's afflictions exist by their own nature, then how can they be eliminated by antidotes? This is unreasonable, because what exists by its own nature cannot be changed, so no one can eliminate it, because self-nature is irreversible. If some people's afflictions do not exist by their own nature, then how can they be eliminated? Because if it is not established by its own nature, then it is admitted to be completely non-existent, so no one can eliminate what does not exist with antidotes. The self-school believes that it is very reasonable to eliminate what is to be abandoned that does not exist by its own nature, but this is to refute the opponent's fault of not distinguishing between what does not exist by its own nature and what does not exist. The second is the Sutra Requested by Constant Intention, and so on. The third is the commentary on the Investigation of Perverted Misapprehension, which is the twenty-third chapter. The second part is to refute the debate against it, which is divided into two parts: the investigation of truth and nirvana. The first part is divided into two parts: explaining the text of the treatise and stating the title. The first part is divided into two parts: debate and answer. The first part is divided into two parts: the debate about the unreasonableness of arising and ceasing, etc., and the debate about the unreasonableness of karma and its effects, etc. The first part is divided into three parts: the unreasonableness of the actions of the Four Noble Truths, as well as the fruit of stream-entry, and the Three Jewels.
