There is no established existence, because if one examines what is "I" or sentient beings, one cannot find the meaning of imputation. Since no basis exists by its own nature, the afflictions, etc., of any basis do not exist by their own nature, because it is impossible to arise without a foundation. The second is: Like looking at one's own body, afflictions, afflictions, in the afflicted, the five aspects are all non-existent. Like looking at one's own body, the afflicted, in the affliction, the five aspects are all non-existent. So it is said. If one thinks that although the basis of affliction, "I," did not exist previously, afflictions arise in dependence on the mind of the afflicted, and mind and affliction also arise together, then, like examining one's own body, the object of clinging to the view of the perishable aggregate, if examined in five ways, cannot be found, so afflictions, afflictions, in the afflicted, also do not exist when examined in five ways, because the way in which rational harm enters is the same. Just as the object of clinging to the view of the perishable aggregate does not exist in five ways, so the mind of the afflicted also does not exist in five ways in affliction, because it should be combined as previously explained. The third is: Pleasant and unpleasant, and inverted, are not self-existent, the afflictions that arise depending on pleasant and unpleasant, and inverted. So it is said. Objects, pleasant and unpleasant, and inverted, etc., are not from their own nature, that is, not inherently existent, because they are dependent origination. Therefore, the afflictions that arise depending on pleasant and unpleasant, and inverted, phenomena, are not self-existent, because they arise depending on objects. The fourth is: Form, sound, smell, taste, and touch, and phenomena, etc., the six kinds, should be known as the basis of attachment, aversion, and ignorance. Form, sound, smell, taste, and touch, and phenomena, etc., are merely like a city of gandharvas, like a mirage, like a dream. So it is said. If one thinks that the six objects are self-existent, therefore the afflictions that focus on them are also self-existent, because it can become an image, therefore it is form, because it emits sound and shows, therefore it is sound, because it can be tasted, therefore it is taste, because it can be smelled, therefore it is smell, because it can be touched, therefore it is touch, because it holds characteristics, therefore it is phenomena, these six are the basis here, that is, the object. What causes joy, therefore it is attachment,

Therefore, since anger arises from hating that, hatred and the ignorance that makes the mind dull are the root. These arise because they depend on those six objects. Those objects of those, although considered the basis of afflictions, are merely form, sound, smell, taste, touch, and phenomena, just mere designations, they do not exist by their own nature. Although they do not exist, the object of focus is like a city of gandharvas, a mirage, and a dream. The fifth is two: refuting that the cause of attachment and hatred is established by its own nature, and refuting that the cause of ignorance is established by its own nature. The first is: Like a magical person, and like an image, for those, pleasant and unpleasant, how could they possibly arise? Depending on what is called pleasant, the unpleasant to be established, it is impossible to exist without depending on the pleasant, therefore the pleasant is not reasonable. Depending on what is called unpleasant, the pleasant to be established, it is impossible to exist without depending on the unpleasant, therefore the unpleasant is not reasonable. If the pleasant does not exist, how could desire exist? If the unpleasant does not exist, how could hatred exist? Thus it is said. The six objects, with inverted objects as their objects, although they do not exist by their own nature, when emptiness arises like an illusion, the six objects are like a magical person and like an image, for those pleasant signs and unpleasant signs, how could they possibly exist by their own nature? Because they only arise from the power of depending on inversion. Pleasant and unpleasant are established in dependence on each other. What does the unpleasant depend on, that is, depending on what is established as pleasant, that which is depended on, the unpleasant, is the subject of the law. It depends on the pleasant, because without depending on it, it is impossible to exist by its own nature. Therefore, the object pleasant, is the subject of the law. It is not reasonable to exist by its own nature, because it depends on the object unpleasant. It pervades, if the place of dependence does not exist by its own nature, then it is contradictory for the dependent phenomenon to exist by its own nature. What does the object pleasant depend on, that is, depending on what is established as unpleasant, the place of dependence, the pleasant, cannot exist without depending on the unpleasant, therefore the unpleasant also its own nature
