It is also unreasonable. Whoever has no self-nature, How can they become a Tathagata? So it is said. If it is thought that the Buddha exists like an image, relying on other things, then this is unreasonable, because it is not self or existing by its own nature. If, like an image, it does not exist by its own self-nature, then how can it become a Tathagata existing by its own nature? This is unreasonable. The third is: If there is no self-nature, How can other things exist? So it is said. If the Buddha is not a self-nature existing in essence, then relative to it, how can the aggregates and others exist as the nature of other things? Because the Buddha and its aggregates and others are established in mutual dependence. The fourth is: Self-nature and other things, Besides this, what is the Tathagata? So it is said. As said before, if self-things and other things are not established in essence, then besides self-nature and other things, what is the Tathagata established by self-nature? It does not exist. The second is: If not relying on the aggregates, If there is a little Tathagata, Now it becomes dependent on them, Dependent on them, it becomes them. Not relying on the aggregates, There is no Tathagata, Whoever does not rely on existence, How can they take? Not having taken, How can one take? Without a taker, There is no Tathagata. So it is said. O learned one, as you wish, if there exists a Tathagata who is different from and inexpressible from the aggregates. If not relying on the aggregates, there exists a little Tathagata before the aggregates, then now it becomes dependent on those aggregates, and after relying on the aggregates, it relies on becoming its taker, but this is unreasonable. Because not relying on the aggregates, that is, before the aggregates, there is no Tathagata at all. Because it is falsely established relying on the five aggregates. Generally speaking, if a certain Buddha does not rely on the aggregates and exists before the aggregates, then how can the Tathagata take the aggregates by its own nature? This is also unreasonable. If the Tathagata does not exist before the aggregates, then by its own nature to

If not taken, how do the aggregates naturally become its approximation? Because there was no natural approximation before. The Thus-Gone One who does not have natural approximation, there is nothing established by nature, because the Thus-Gone One did not naturally take the aggregates. The third is: If you search with five aspects, how can the Thus-Gone One, who is neither the same nor different from the aggregates, be established by approximation? So it is said. If you analyze and search with the five kinds of intelligence mentioned above, then how can the Thus-Gone One, who is not the same or different from the aggregates, and whose nature does not exist, be established by the naturally existing approximate aggregates? Because the meaning of the establishment cannot be found by searching in five ways. The second is: If something is approximated, then it is not existent by nature. If something does not exist in my entity, how can it exist by another entity? So it is said. The five analyses not only show that the Thus-Gone One is not established by nature, but also, if something is approximated, the five, such as form, feeling, etc., are also not existent by nature, because they are interdependent and have been refuted before. If it is thought that approximation depends on the objects of cause and condition and exists by nature, then, without relying on others, what does not exist by nature in my entity, how can it depend on the objects of other causes and conditions and exist by nature? It is impossible, because being established by one's own nature and depending on others are contradictory. The third is: Thus, what is to be taken and the taker are empty in all ways. Because of emptiness, the Thus-Gone One is empty, how can it be established as existent? So it is said. Thus, both what is to be taken and the taker are empty in all ways because they are established by nature. Because what is to be taken is empty by nature, how can the Thus-Gone One, who is empty by nature, be established as existent by nature? It is not possible. Relying on these treatises, it has been diligently established that establishment and being established by nature are contradictory. The second is, one does not say emptiness, nor does one say non-emptiness.

One should not make it two or not two, but should speak for the sake of designation. The four, such as permanent and impermanent, where are they in this peace? The four, such as finite and infinite, where are they in this peace? Whoever holds that the Thus-Gone One exists, clinging with strong attachment, they will speculate about nirvana and non-existence. For that which is empty by nature, after the Buddha's nirvana, it is not reasonable to think whether it exists or does not exist. Thus it is said. If you ask: You say that the Thus-Gone One is empty by nature, is that slandering him, so can we argue with you? We explain the true state of the Thus-Gone One as it is. How could we slander the Thus-Gone One? We do not say that the Thus-Gone One is empty, that is, non-existent, nor should we say that it is not empty by nature, nor should we say that it is both or neither, nor should we say that it exists by its very nature. However, in accordance with the thoughts of those to be tamed, one should speak for the sake of designation, making it subject to terminology. Just as the Thus-Gone One does not possess the four, such as emptiness, likewise, viewing the world as the four, both and neither, such as permanent and impermanent, where is it in this peace where the Buddha's essence exists, that is, it does not exist. Similarly, where is it in this peace, the meaning of holding the world as having an end and having no end, and having and not having? Whatever opponent thinks that that end is the delusion of truth, and is held with strong attachment, that is, after the Buddha's nirvana, whether the Thus-Gone One exists or does not exist, both existence and non-existence and neither, they speculate with discrimination. As we say, for the Thus-Gone One who is empty by nature, after the Buddha's nirvana, it is not reasonable to hold by thinking whether he exists or does not exist, or both or neither, because such views are evil views. The third is: Whoever has passed beyond the Buddhas' elaborations, and engages in endless proliferation, all those who are ruined by proliferation will not see that Thus-Gone One. Thus it is said. Whoever's wisdom
