The meaning is, therefore, that things do not exist as being established by their own nature, but selflessness exists, because it must be admitted that the nature of things is emptiness. If things do not have a self-nature established by their own nature, then what dharma's self-nature is this transformation? The second part is divided into two parts: refuting the proof that other-transformation is established by its own nature, and refuting the proof that emptiness exists by its own nature. The first part is divided into two parts: refuting that self-nature and other-transformation are contradictory, and refuting that other-transformation cannot be established by its own nature. The first part: If self-nature exists, how can it transform? If the existence of things is their own self-nature, that is, existing by its own nature, it is unreasonable, because how can it transform from that? The second part is: That itself does not have other-transformation, and it does not exist in the other itself either. Because the young do not age, because aging does not age either. If that itself transforms, the milk itself will turn into yogurt. What other than milk will turn into the substance of yogurt? The thing remains in its previous state, that itself does not transform, because transforming in this way is a form of aging, so the young who are in a state of youth do not age, because there is no aging, because it is unreasonable to transform from the state of youth itself. Also, aging itself does not have new aging, because aging does not age again, it does not need to become aging. Our own system believes that, according to worldly terms, it is contradictory to be old when young, just as the two periods of old age and youth are contradictory, so old age and youth are also contradictory. A person does not have old age when young, and does not have youth when old, so the transformation of before and after is admitted in name, but that will not have the previous fault. If it is thought that other-transformation exists by its own nature, then the previous faults will appear, because that will have the fault of two states existing at the same time. If that young person himself exists by his own nature and transforms into the other aging
