It is not permissible in any way, because it is impossible for these three to exist together in essence. Because, when self-nature is established, it is unreasonable for self-nature to perish. Because, if self-nature is established, then it must also remain in the second moment of self-establishment. The third part has two parts: the main point and the refutation of faults. The first part is: For arising, dwelling, and ceasing, if the characteristics and basis of conditioned phenomena exist, then it becomes endless; if they do not exist, then they are not conditioned phenomena. That is to say, for phenomena such as arising, dwelling, and ceasing, as characteristics and basis of conditioned phenomena, do arising and so on have other meanings or not? Neither case is reasonable. If they exist, then the characteristics of aggregates as conditioned phenomena will become endless; if they do not exist, then those phenomena such as arising and so on are not conditioned phenomena, because arising and so on have no other meaning to express. The opponent admits this pervasion. The second part has two parts: refuting the fault of the first inference, and refuting the fault of the second inference. The first part has two parts: stating the fault refutation, and refuting it. The first part is: The arising of arising causes only the root arising, and the root arising also causes the arising of arising. It is said that the learned ones and others say that arising has the arising of arising, the dwelling of arising, and so on, so it does not become unconditioned, and the root characteristic will accomplish the conforming characteristic, so it will not become endless. Therefore, the arising of arising causes only the root arising, and the root arising also causes the arising of arising. The second part is: If your arising of arising causes the root arising, then how can your root, which has not caused that, cause it? If your root that has caused that can cause the root, then how can that root that has not caused it cause it? If that which has not arisen can cause that, then your arising one, causing that is what you desire. That is to say, if according to your view, the arising of arising causes the root arising, then your root arising that has not caused that arising
