The two aspects of omniscience are not contradictory, because if it is the first, it must be the second. There is a reason for saying this, because it is for the sake of understanding that even in the state of Buddhahood, the aspects of the three wisdoms are fully present in an increasing manner. The first two groups are the aspects of common omniscience, and the latter is the aspect of uncommon omniscience, because the first two are respectively the omniscience that exists in the continuum of Hearers and Bodhisattvas and the omniscience that accords with it, and the latter is the aspect of omniscience that exists only in the continuum of Buddhas and Noble Ones and the omniscience that accords with it. Although the aspect of omniscience that accords with exists in the continuum of both Hearers and Bodhisattvas, the aspect of omniscience that exists does not exist in the continuum of these two, because omniscience does not exist in the continuum of these two. The first group is established in terms of the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, and there are three aspects to this: meaning of the words, classification, and boundaries. The first exists, because the wisdom that knows the exhaustion of non-arising is enlightenment, and it is said so for the reason of obtaining its accordance. The third has seven groups, namely the four mindfulnesses, the four right abandonments, the four legs of miraculous power, the five faculties, the five powers, the seven branches of enlightenment, and the eightfold noble path. The first, examining each of its objects, is a wisdom belonging to the view that holds without forgetting with mindfulness. It is the nature of mindfulness. There are four of them, namely body mindfulness, feeling mindfulness, mind mindfulness, and dharma mindfulness. Each has its own object, because it observes the four: body, feeling, mind, and dharma. There is a way of observing, because one observes one's own body as impure, feelings as suffering, the mind as impermanent, and dharmas as selfless. There is a need, because children perversely cling to the body as pure and as my nature. Cling to feelings as happiness and as my enjoyment. Cling to the mind as permanent and as my object. Perversely cling to the Dharma as the basis of complete defilement and purification, in order to dispel those clingings.

It is for the sake of special meditation. Second, it is a wisdom that belongs to the category of views that delights in any aspect of the four truths to be adopted or abandoned. It is the nature of right exertion. It has four aspects: the non-arising of unwholesome dharmas that have not yet arisen, the abandonment of unwholesome dharmas that have already arisen, the arising of wholesome dharmas that have not yet arisen, and the increase of wholesome dharmas that have already arisen, because there are four right exertions. Third, it is a wisdom that belongs to the lineage, which serves as the basis for various manifestations. It is the nature of the feet of miraculous power. It has four aspects: namely, the feet of miraculous power of aspiration, effort, mind, and investigation, because there are four. Fourth, it is a wisdom that is capable of independently generating the noble path as its own result, and is obtained through the path of application, encompassed by faith and so on. It is the nature of the faculties mentioned here. It has five aspects: namely, the faculties of faith, effort, mindfulness, samadhi, and wisdom, because there are five. Fifth, it is a wisdom that has the power to generate the noble path as its own result, and has obtained the patience of the path of application, encompassed by faith and so on. It is the nature of the powers mentioned here. It has five aspects: namely, from the power of faith to the power of wisdom, because there are five. In general, the nature of the two, faculties and powers, is the same, but there is a difference. The five faculties cannot be overcome by opposing factors such as lack of faith, while the five powers can conversely overcome lack of faith and so on. Sixth, it is the wisdom of the noble continuum that is a part of enlightenment or the cause of enlightenment as its own result. It is the nature of the limbs of enlightenment. It has seven aspects: namely, mindfulness as a limb of perfect enlightenment, and similarly discrimination of dharmas, effort, joy, tranquility, samadhi, and equanimity as limbs of perfect enlightenment, because there are seven. Seventh, it is the wisdom of the noble continuum encompassed by any of the eight, such as right view. It is the nature of the limbs of the noble path. It has eight aspects: namely, right view, right thought, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right
