Because the four subsequent acceptances are established on the basis of directly realizing the nature of the four acceptances, there is a reason to call them Dharma-acceptance and Subsequent-acceptance. This is because, in sequence, when newly realizing the nature of one's own object and subject, they are called that way because of the reason of not fearing what should be feared. There is a reason to call Dharma-knowledge and Subsequent-knowledge, because, in sequence, through abandoning the imputed clinging to truth that clings to the four truths as true, the nature of reality is directly realized, and the nature of the four Dharma-knowledges that abandon it is directly realized. The Dharma in Dharma-acceptance and Dharma-knowledge is the object emptiness, and there is a reason to call emptiness Dharma, because it is the supreme or sacred of Dharmas and the supreme of what is to be realized, so it is called that way. Subsequent-acceptance and Subsequent-knowledge also indicate the order of dependence on realizing that Dharma, because it is the term for the order of realization of directly realizing the nature of object and subject. Although the sixteen moments of knowledge and acceptance of the Mahayana Path of Seeing are a single session of perfect action, they differ in the way they act. The uninterrupted path of the Mahayana Path of Seeing directly abandons the imputed clinging to truth, while the path of liberation performs the action of controlling what has been abandoned. Although the sixteen are definitely two moments of perfect action, it is not contradictory to say sixteen, because in the subsequent attainment after rising from samadhi, sixteen different understandings of the sixteen aspects of truth are drawn forth. In this case, according to the commentary, it seems necessary to assume that even if the Mahayana mind of enlightenment is not manifest in the continuum of the Mahayana Path of Seeing's uninterrupted path and the path of liberation, it exists. However, according to the "Commentary on the Clear Meaning" and the "Great Emptiness," there is no contaminated consciousness in the continuum of the learner who directly realizes emptiness, therefore, it should be assumed that there is no Mahayana mind of enlightenment in the continuum of the learner who directly realizes emptiness, as stated by the venerable Tendawa. However, some believe that emptiness

To assert that there is no Mahāyāna mind generation in the continuum of a learner who realizes through a general method is something to be examined. Because, from that, the realization arising from meditating on emptiness, during the time of equanimity, seems to appear only in that way, but when wisdom arising from hearing and thinking realizes it, it is not appropriate to think that way. The reason is that when wisdom from hearing and thinking realizes it, the appearance of duality is very coarse. Otherwise, if one must also think that there is no Mahāyāna mind generation even during deep sleep and the attainment of victors, it would be too extreme. Enough of elaboration, let it be. Third, the path of seeing of what is to be abandoned and what abandons arises sequentially. First, the path of seeing that abandons, which directly realizes emptiness, arises, and then the path of seeing of what is to be abandoned, which directly realizes the sixteen aspects such as impermanence, arises. The reason is that when one first attains the Mahāyāna path of seeing, one must directly realize emptiness. Fourth, there is a transition from the path of seeing to the Mahāyāna path of meditation, because, in order to primarily abandon the co-emergent clinging to self, as long as one does not single-pointedly abide in equanimity on emptiness, it is the path of seeing, and when one abides in equanimity in that way, it is established as having transitioned to the path of meditation. However, after the Mahāyāna path of seeing, the path of liberation, until one has not attained the path of meditation, and after attaining the path of meditation, until one has not attained the second ground, one should also stabilize the habituation of the wisdom that directly realizes emptiness, and it is clear that one should single-pointedly abide in equanimity on emptiness for the sake of abiding in comfort in this life. There is no fault in doing so, and it is necessary, because the first ground must be completed after a long time such as kalpas. Even if it is not for abandoning obscurations, abiding in equanimity on emptiness is not contradictory, because it is like the Blessed One Buddha always abides in equanimity on emptiness. Regarding the explanation of the Mahāyāna path of meditation, there are two: the activity of the path of meditation and the path of meditation with activity. First, there are two: the essence and the divisions. The first exists, because the benefit obtained through the power of meditating on the Mahāyāna path of meditation is the essence of the activity of the Mahāyāna path of meditation. Second, if one divides it, there are six.
