Therefore, the third is that the number is definite, and there are many situations: from the perspective of the three trainings, from the perspective of accomplishing higher rebirth and definite goodness, and from the perspective of accomplishing the two benefits. The first situation is established because the first three Paramitas are the practice of the training in discipline, the latter two are the practice of the training in wisdom, and diligence is included in the practice of all three trainings. As stated in the Ornament of the Sutras: "Being free in the three trainings, the Victorious One spoke of the six perfections, the first three and the latter two, are of two kinds, one also belongs to the three." The second situation is established because the first three are higher rebirth, the latter two are definite goodness, and diligence is included in both. The third situation is established because the first three are benefiting others, the latter two are accomplishing self-benefit, and diligence is included in both. The fourth is that there is an order, because the latter arises depending on the former, which is the order of cause and effect, and also the order of the former being superior to the latter, and also the order of coarse and fine. As stated in the Ornament of the Sutras: "Depending on the former, the latter arises, being in inferior and superior, coarse and subtle, therefore the order is explained." The fifth is that there is a method of practice, because first one must practice generosity, and then practice discipline and so on in order. The sixth is that there is a result, as stated in the Jewel Garland: "Generosity obtains enjoyment, discipline obtains happiness, patience obtains radiance, diligence obtains splendor, meditation obtains peace, wisdom obtains liberation." The seventh is that there is meaning of words, as stated in the Ornament of the Sutras: "To abandon poverty, to obtain coolness, to endure anger, to combine excellence, to focus the mind, it is said for understanding reality." And so on. Second, meditation, formless generosity, etc., in the case of etc., when entering practice, there are two types: common classification and detailed explanation. The first has two types: essence and classification. The first is existent, because the Mahayana

Therefore, the wisdom of mind that is mainly practiced by combining the practice of Dharma is the nature and function of entering into samadhi. Secondly, if divided, there are nine types, namely eight types of entering the Great Vehicle as the cause, and one type of entering omniscience as the result. Secondly, there are two aspects: the basis of entering samadhi and the entering samadhi that relies on it. The former has two aspects: the physical basis and the mental basis. The former exists, as the basis of the path of application was explained earlier. There is a slight difference in that some new samadhis arise on the basis of the formless realm. The latter exists because the proximity to meditation arises depending on the desire realm, its actual practice arises depending on the proximity, and the formless samadhi arises depending on meditation. Secondly, regarding the samadhi that relies on it, there are two aspects: the explanation of the samadhi of meditation and the samadhi of the formless realm. The former, if explained in detail, is numerous, but if summarized here, it has the nature of the samadhi of meditation. Among the two, the object of focus and the limbs, the higher samadhi that is well distinguished by establishing it through the door of the limbs is its nature. If that is divided, there are many types, namely, there are four types such as the first dhyana samadhi. Those four each have a way of establishing, namely, the samadhi of the state of existence of meditation that is well distinguished by any of the detachment from desire or already detached from desire in its lower realm, the desire realm. Likewise, the samadhis that are well distinguished by any of the attachment to, detachment from, or already detached from attachment to its lower realms, the first dhyana, the second dhyana, and the third dhyana, are respectively the nature and function of the samadhi of the first dhyana, the second dhyana, the third dhyana, and the fourth dhyana. The internal divisions are numerous, namely, each of them also has two aspects: proximity and actual practice, as well as two aspects: tranquility and insight. The way of possessing limbs is that the actual practice of the first dhyana possesses five limbs, the actual practice of the second dhyana possesses four limbs, the actual practice of the third dhyana possesses five limbs, and the actual practice of the fourth dhyana possesses four limbs. Secondly, there is the nature of the formless samadhi, namely, the object of focus.
