It is clear that ordinary beings like us in the past are shown to have become Buddhas later. If it is not like that and applied to others, then the differences such as "mindfulness, awareness, and caution" will be included in the tradition. Like "this Dharma is unborn" and so on will become irrelevant. Doing so will not denigrate the venerable one, but to eliminate the frustration of us, and the venerable one also attained Buddhahood by striving in that way, which actually implies that we should follow him. The way to eliminate frustration is that the venerable one is now enlightened because he had such shortcomings before, and he became enlightened by accumulating merit. He did not become a Buddha without having been a sentient being. Therefore, if other ordinary people like those mentioned earlier practice diligently, they can also attain Buddhahood like the venerable one. It is like what is said in the "Letter to a Friend": "Those who have manifested the Dharma, they did not fall from the sky like crops; nor did they emerge from the ground, they were all ordinary beings bound by afflictions before." This is an example. This root verse is a decoration with form, combining the bondage of clinging to truth and buying drunkenness with wine, combining anger and the elephant's trunk, combining desire and rope, combining gain, respect, and the female elephant with desire, combining indulgence and the mind wandering in the forest with the elephant. The way to combine the next verse should also be understood in this way. The elephant of the mind mentioned earlier should be tightly bound with the rope of mindfulness, awareness, and caution, and then hooked with the sharp iron hook of correct reasoning, so that it can enter the auspicious dependent arising that countless noble ones have passed through and the Buddhas have praised, which is the good path to understanding the profound Dharma nature. Countless noble ones have passed through, which means they have passed away, and countless is just a plural term. Although there are many ways to attain liberation, here it mainly refers to the path of realizing emptiness. The way to put the mind on that path is to use the power of tireless diligence, not for a short time, but for countless eons, and not just once, but to practice repeatedly in the mind, so that through the illusion-like samadhi, that is, the practice of all dharmas being empty like illusions, the diamond of wisdom destroys clinging, that is, the mountain of the obscurations of afflictions.

It is made remaining by name, that is, only the name remains, and the matter is completely abandoned from the root. Here, even the name is not left behind, it is completely abandoned. Although it is said so, the meaning is not contradictory. The so-called only the name remains means that although the Lord calls it "attachment", in fact, the meaning of attachment has been completely cut off from the root. And when it is said that "even the name is not left", because there is no attachment in the self-continuum, its name and reality are also inconsistent, so both name and reality have been cut off. However, the meaning here seems to be the same as the former. The so-called "attachment" mostly refers to the real attachment to the permanent side, and some refer to the attachment to the broken side. The so-called illusion-like samadhi seems to worry that the uninterrupted path must be taken as the permanent side, but here, according to the power of the word "illusion-like", it is still explained as before. As you said before, in order to eliminate all the obscurations of knowledge again, after eliminating all the obscurations of affliction, with the countless kings of victors, offering the supreme cloud-sea of offerings, that is, with the power of pleasing the Buddhas with many offerings, from the immaculate throat vase of those Buddhas, with the sound of Brahma, the wonderful sound spoken with the same intention, which can eradicate the hundred diseases of the suffering of samsara, the nectar medicine of the holy Dharma, constantly relying on one's own mind-continuum, in the extremely difficult pure stage, when the strength of the wisdom body that can cross the vast Bodhisattva practice like the sea increases, all attachments, that is, all discriminations such as real attachments, can never be disturbed at any time, that is, cannot cause harm, and can directly destroy all illusions without hindrance, that is, the obscurations of knowledge of dualistic confusion, which is the most supreme among all samadhis, the samadhi known as the constant-side vajra, you have realized it, and eliminated all the obscurations of knowledge. However, it seems that only the learning path before entering the realm of Dharma can be connected with it. Know.
