He, together with them, destroyed all the places of Magadha. Having killed many monks in Odantapuri, he destroyed both that and Vikramashila at the same time. The panditas fled to other places, and the Dharma in both of those places disappeared. It is said that Lord Atisha served as the abbot of Vikramashila, and the tenth abbot, Panchen Shakya Shri, later became the abbot there. At that time, although there were some accomplished ones, since they could not find a way to reverse the common karma of sentient beings, the Dharma in the central region of Magadha seemed to have disappeared. After that, there appeared a king named Tsagala Raja. He made great offerings at Vajrasana, restored most of the temples that had been destroyed before, and also established Dharma foundations. Although great offerings were made to the temple at Nalanda, no Dharma foundation was established. After that king, no king who made offerings appeared in Magadha, and there were no holders of the Tripitaka either. Later, King Mukudeva built a temple in another place and established some Dharma foundations. After that, although there were some kings and some wise and accomplished ones in some places who worked for the Dharma, there were none who were particularly famous in the central region.

He possessed authority over Yamantaka and Chakrasamvara. He naturally understood the languages of animals and many texts without having studied them. After him, Bodhibhadra appeared, skilled in all secret mantras, and saw the face of Manjushri. After that, Kamalrakshita came, especially skilled in sutras, tantras, Prajnaparamita, and Guhyasamaja. He saw the face of Yamantaka and merged into Tagga. He heard many teachings from Manjushri and attained accomplishment. When Magadha was destroyed by the army, most of the scholars of the central region fled to the east and resided in the territory of a king near the sea. That king built many temples and also established many Dharma foundations, causing the Dharma to flourish. It is said that later this lineage grew to have two or three hundred thousand monks. Furthermore, in the region of Koki, Suvarnadvipa, Tamradvipa, and other islands, the Dharma had flourished since ancient times, and it is said that this lineage still exists today. In Simhala, during the festival celebrating the footprint of the Teacher, twelve thousand monks would gather, most of whom were Shravakas. After Magadha was destroyed by the Turushkas, the Dharma flourished in the southern regions of Kalinga and Mount Abik, and it is said that this lineage still exists today. Moreover, in the past, during the reign of King Longso Trasang and the other three, the elixir of alchemy was accomplished, and whoever came to beg, they gave generous donations. Also, one of the three kings built over a thousand large and small temples. One king regularly offered to a thousand monks. One king regularly taught the Dharma to ten thousand Brahmins and ten thousand Buddhists. A king named Youthful Six-Faced did not succeed in creating a source of wealth, but he gave each of all the poor people a piece of clothing and satisfied them with food for twenty years. During the reign of King Wangchen Buchawo, he ordered the Brahmin caste to worship only the Three Jewels and they worshiped. His two sons each built fifty temples. A Brahmin named Palamitra filled the end of the ocean with stupas, which was prophesied in the Manjushri Root Tantra. A Brahmin named Naga Keru built one hundred thousand statues of the Teacher and offered each statue with ten offerings. The text of the Brahmin Commentary Garland.

Ten thousand stupas were built, and each was offered with fifteen kinds of offerings. Monks and lay practitioners who studied the scriptures were constantly provided with the necessities of life for thousands of people. A Mahayana master named Gaggarī, who was a knower of others' minds, taught the Dharma and a thousand students attained forbearance. Such a lay practitioner taught the Dharma and many thousands of lay practitioners realized the meaning of the Prajnaparamita. Again, a lay practitioner named Blo Gros Zhon Nu taught the Dharma and tens of thousands of disciples became meditators. The monk Bhadra only spoke the truth and pacified the evil spirits in the towns and cities. The lay practitioners Dāna Bhadra and Lanka Reva painted stupas and Buddha images, and built thousands of them from stone, wood, etc., and offered ten kinds of banners and other offerings to each. Again, a lay practitioner named Hu Byu Dze gave all the grain, gold, food, clothing, etc. that he begged for. In the end, he gave up everything and, through meditation, attained forbearance in the unborn Dharma, and it is said that he went to Sukhavati in that very body. A lay practitioner named Uma's Intelligence appeared. He went into various heretical sects and manifested forms similar to them. While explaining their treatises, he interspersed teachings on selflessness and great compassion, so that they unknowingly converted to Buddhism. In this way, he brought tens of thousands of heretics into the Buddha's teachings. These later teachers seem to have mostly appeared before Nagarjuna. Some think that they appeared after the rise of the Mahayana, up to Dharmakirti, but it is difficult to arrange them in chronological order. These are arranged according to Indian legends, but the appearance of other wise and accomplished ones is difficult to measure, because countless wise and accomplished ones appeared in India. In particular, in the time of Nagarjuna, there were about five thousand accomplished ones of the Tara mantra, a thousand in the retinue of King Dārika, and hundreds in the retinue of the Black Practitioner. Thirdly, regarding the incidental meaning, in the past there were those who attained the four fruits of stream-enterer, once-returner, non-returner, and Arhat.
