In summary, it belongs to the first Dhyana because it is included in its realm. The individual consciousnesses and intentions of the second Dhyana, etc., are indeterminate because they arise merely out of necessity, so they are not virtuous, and because they have abandoned attachment to the lower realms, they are not afflictive. These characteristics of the second Dhyana, etc., include: the manner of attainment, the manner of manifestation after attainment, the difference in objects, and the manner of abandoning what is to be abandoned, along with the accompanying factors. First, there are reality and equality. Examining which Samadhi follows which Samadhi, the distinction of the pure ones, and incidentally mentioning the classification of sudden transcendence, there are four in total. The first is: "Not possessing it, free from desire, from birth, purity is attained, the desireless without outflows, the afflicted ones are born." It is said that the three, Samadhi pure ones, those without outflows, and the afflicted ones, have a way of attainment. Among them, if the pure one does not possess the previous pure one, it is attained through the path of detachment from desire; if it possesses it, it is attained from birth from the upper realm to the lower realm, except for the peak of existence. If the one without outflows does not possess it, it is attained through the path of detachment from desire; if it possesses it, it is also attained through the arising of the knowledge of exhaustion and the transformation of faculties. The Samadhi afflicted one is attained through complete degeneration and birth in the lower realm. The second is: "Immediately after the outflowless, between the upper and lower three, purity arises, likewise from the pure, also the afflictions of one's own realm. From the afflicted, purity of oneself arises, the purity of the lower affliction, death transfers from the pure, all afflictions, from the afflicted, the upper arises." It is said that Samadhi has a way of what arises after what. For example, if we take the example of after the outflowless first Dhyana, then from the third Dhyana arises one's own subsequent upper one, and from the third Dhyana below it to the first Dhyana, the pure one and the one without outflows arise. From the Samadhi pure one arises the pure one of one's own realm, etc., like the former, and also the afflictions of one's own realm. From the meditation of the afflicted one arises the pure one of one's own realm and the afflicted one, and one of the pure ones of the lower realm. From the pure one of the birth attainment at the time of death transfer arises all the afflicted ones of one's own realm, the upper realm, and the lower realm. The Samadhi afflicted one with death birth

If done, it will be born in its own ground and lower ground. Because it will not be born on a higher ground. The third is: pure, degenerate, similar parts, etc. These four are in order, the arising of afflictions and one's own ground, as well as upwards and in accordance. After degeneration and similar parts, etc., there are two, three, three, and one. Thus it is said. A practitioner of pure equipoise, if you classify, there are four types, because degeneration and similar parts, etc., have abiding similar parts and differentiated similar parts and decisive similar parts. These four, have their own nature, in order, immediately after oneself, the afflictions of one's own ground arise, immediately after oneself, the purity of one's own ground arises, immediately after oneself, the pure one of the upper ground arises, immediately after oneself, the arising of the uncontaminated and the equipoise that follows are all established therein. Degeneration and similar parts, etc., have such arising immediately after you, the first has two of degeneration abiding, the second has three except for decisive similar parts, the third has three except for degenerate similar parts, and the fourth has only one decisive similar part arising. The fourth is transcendence: the eight grounds are related in two ways, one transcends and goes and comes, the order does not match the third, it is the equipoise of transcendence. Thus it is said. This has the application of transcendence, the main part, the explanation, and the support, four in all. The first has two, distant application and near application, the first, there is distant application, the eight grounds of the four dhyanas and the four formless realms are related in two ways, with contaminated and uncontaminated, that is, the order is in accordance with the eight contaminated grounds going downwards, and the order is not in accordance with the contaminated distant application coming downwards, and the seven uncontaminated grounds except for the peak of existence going upwards and coming downwards is the uncontaminated distant application. There is near application, after that, entering into equipoise in the first dhyana of the contaminated, abandoning the single second dhyana, entering into the third dhyana of the contaminated. Then abandoning the fourth dhyana, entering into the infinite space, then abandoning the infinite consciousness, entering into nothingness, thus entering in a non-sequential order is the contaminated near application, and the uncontaminated
