The co-arisen mental factors that possess it are second, and the realization of the activity itself is third. Generally speaking, there are many views, but in terms of the way they arise, here it is believed that all sixteen realizations arise in sequence, which is different from others who believe that the eight acceptances and the eight knowledges arise simultaneously. The third is the basis of mind, which is said to be the same as the supreme Dharma. The mind that realizes the truth is characterized by having a basis of mind, because the path of application, the supreme Dharma, and the basis of mind are in the same place. This is because it relies on the six meditative grounds and is encompassed by the supreme Dharma and a single session of meditative equipoise. The fourth is the explanation of the antidote and the path of abandonment, which is: 'Acceptance and knowledge in order, the path of non-interruption and liberation, fifteen moments from them are the path of seeing because of seeing what was not seen.' Thus it is said. Those sixteen moments are characterized by being grouped into two, namely, the eight acceptances are established as the path of non-interruption and the eight knowledges as the path of liberation in order. This is because the first eight cannot be interrupted by others and actually abandon their own objects of abandonment, while the latter eight are established in this way through liberation from those objects of abandonment. Among them, the first fifteen moments are characterized by being the path of seeing, because it is the path of newly seeing the aspect of truth that was not previously seen directly. The sixteenth is characterized by not being so, because it is the path of cultivation that familiarizes what has already been seen. Among them, there is a difference between the antidote and the path of abandonment, because the eight acceptances are the antidote to the objects of abandonment, therefore it is the path of the antidote, and the eight knowledges dominate the objects of abandonment, therefore they are established as the path of abandonment. Second, in terms of the establishment of the individual, there is the general explanation of the establishment of the state of entry, the division into seven categories from within, and the summary of the types of individuals, etc., in three parts. The first part has two aspects: the establishment of the stream-enterer and the one who has abandoned attachment in advance, and the establishment of the gradual attainment of fruits. The first is: 'Among those with sharp or dull faculties, those who follow faith and those who follow Dharma, who have not abandoned what is to be abandoned by cultivation, have entered the first fruit. Having destroyed the five desires up to the second existence, the nine grounds are exhausted. Having abandoned attachment in desire or in the higher realms, they have entered the third ground.'

Pa. Whoever enters into something, abides in that fruit in the sixteenth path. At that time, the sharp and dull faculties are obtained through faith and seeing. Having obtained the fruit, in order to obtain the superior fruit, because there is no attainment of the path, therefore one does not strive, as it is said. A person abiding in those realizations has two types: the sharp-witted follower of the Dharma and the dull-witted follower of faith. Among these two, not having abandoned even one object to be abandoned by meditation beforehand is entering the first fruit, and from one seat to destroying five seats is also entering that, because it is a stream-enterer. Before the path of seeing, the sixth to the ninth of the objects to be abandoned by meditation in the desire realm, that is, the eighth extinguished, is entering the second fruit, the once-returner, because it is a once-returner due to prior detachment from desire. Before the path of seeing, detachment from desire in the desire realm, or detachment from desire below nothingness, is entering the third fruit, the non-returner, because it is a non-returner due to prior detachment from desire. Which of these three enterers enters in order to obtain which of these three fruits? When abiding in the sixteenth path, the subsequent wisdom, the three fruits are established in order, that is, at that time it is established that one obtains any of the three fruits such as stream-enterer. At that time, those sharp and dull faculties are not called followers of faith and Dharma, because the dull-witted believe with faith and the sharp-witted obtain with seeing. Because one has obtained the fruit, therefore one does not strive to obtain a higher fruit, and is not an enterer of a higher fruit, because one has not obtained the path of entering a special fruit. The second is the manner of abandoning what is to be abandoned, and the actual classification of the abidings of the enterers. The first is: Land and land have nine faults, and similarly there are nine qualities, because small, medium, and large each have small of small and so on. As it is said. The land and land from the desire realm to the peak of existence, you have nine faults, that is, the three objects to be abandoned by meditation, small, medium, and large, and each has differences from small of small to large of large.
