In the discussion of body and lifespan, there are two aspects: body size and lifespan. Firstly, there are two types of body sizes: human body size and divine body size. The first is: the size of the inhabitants of Jambudvipa, four and a half cubits. "The East and the Godaniya, the North is called doubling." It is said. The object of knowledge, the people of the four continents have body sizes, that is, the body of the people of Jambudvipa is four cubits, and most are four and a half cubits, the East is eight cubits, Godaniya is sixteen cubits, and Uttarakuru is thirty-two cubits, because the latter increases twice as much as the former. The second is: the body sizes of the desire realm gods and the form realm gods. The first is: the body of the gods who possess desire, "From a quarter to a yojana, increasing between half and two." It is said. The body sizes of the gods who possess desire are: the Four Great Kings are a quarter of a yojana, the Thirty-three Gods are two quarters, the Yama Gods are three quarters, the Tushita Gods are one yojana, the Nirmanarati Gods are one yojana and a quarter, and the Paranirmitavasavartin Gods increase between half a yojana and two yojanas. The second is: the first of the form possessors is half a yojana, "Those above it increase by half and half, above the lesser light until, the body doubles and doubles, the cloudless yojanas are abandoned by three." It is said. This Dharma, the body size of the form realm gods is: the first form possessor, the body of the Brahma host is half a yojana, and the four above it increase by half and half, so the Brahma attendants are one yojana, the Great Brahma is half two yojanas, the Lesser Light Gods are two yojanas, and the bodies of the gods above the Lesser Light Gods are doubled from the former, so the Immeasurable Light is four yojanas, the Radiant Light is eight yojanas, the Lesser Virtue Gods are sixteen yojanas, the Extensive Virtue Gods are thirty-two yojanas, the Cloudless Gods abandon three yojanas from the doubling, so it is one hundred and twenty-five yojanas, the Fruitful Gods are five hundred yojanas, the Great Gods are one thousand yojanas, the Non-afflicted Gods are two thousand yojanas, the Well-appearing Gods are four thousand yojanas, the Well-seeing Gods are eight thousand yojanas, and the Akanishtha Gods' body is sixteen thousand yojanas. Secondly, regarding lifespan, there are three aspects: whether good destinies and bad destinies and uncertain death exist or not. Firstly, there are two types of lifespans: human lifespan and divine lifespan. The first is: the lifespan of the Kuru is one thousand years, and the two are halved and halved. "Here uncertain, finally years."

The first is immeasurable. It is said. People have Dharma, you have a lifespan, if the sound is not pleasant, the lifespan is wasted, the west and the east each abandon half, that is, the west is five hundred and the east is three hundred and fifty, because the lifespan of the people of Jambudvipa is uncertain. Finally, one can live to ten years old, and the lifespan of the first kalpa is immeasurable. The second is, the lifespan of the desire realm gods, the form realm gods, and the formless realm gods are three. The first is: Fifty years of people, From the gods of desire, One day and night of the lower ones. Therefore, the lifespan is five hundred years. The upper two become twice as much. It is said. Knowable Dharma, The six desire heavens have lifespans, Fifty years of people are one day and night of the lower four great king races among the gods of desire. Thirty days are one month, Twelve months are one year, so one's own lifespan is five hundred years. Above the thirty-three heavens, the days and years become twice as much, if the months and years are calculated as before. One hundred years of the human world is one day and night of the thirty-three heavens, etc., so one's own lifespan is one thousand years. Similarly, two hundred, Four hundred, Eight hundred, One thousand six hundred, in order are the No Strife Heaven, Tushita Heaven, Enjoying Emanation Heaven, and Other's Freedom Heaven's each day. Thirty days are made into one month, so in order they can live two thousand years, Four thousand years, Eight thousand years, Sixteen thousand years. From the Hair Knot Holding Heaven and above, even if one does not look at the sun and moon's movement, the difference between day and night is reasonable. Because the Kundaka flower opens, the lotus closes, the birds do not sing, etc., all take place at night. The second is: Those with form have no day or night, With the kalpa of measuring one's own body. It is said. Form realm Dharma, You do not have the term day and night there, but there is the lifespan of the gods, Because the kalpa is calculated by measuring the height of one's own body, not the intermediate kalpa. Because the body of the Brahma host is one and a half cubits, Similarly, Forty intermediate kalpas are one kalpa, Similarly, One cloudless great kalpa. The Great Brahma is half of forty kalpas as one kalpa, twice as much. The Small Light Heaven and above are great kalpas, so the Small Light Heaven great kalpa two to the Akanishta Heaven great kalpa.
