Touch is: Six touches arise from aggregation. Five are obstructive touches. The sixth is called 'increased speech'. Wisdom and non-wisdom, and other wisdoms, Immaculate, afflicted, and the remainder, Touch accompanied by harmful thoughts, Three kinds such as experiencing pleasure. Thus it is said. The dependent arising of touch, Its essence can be established, Because it arises from the aggregation of object, sense, and consciousness, And it is a mental factor that can, by its own power, sever the changes of the object. There are six divisions, Because there are six kinds such as the touch arising from the aggregation of the eye. The first five, excluding the mind, are obstructive touches, Because they are touches that rely on the obstructive, form-possessing sense organs. The sixth, the touch of the mind, is called the touch of 'increased speech', Because it is the touch of the mind that focuses on names, words, etc. Touch, as for you, if divided from the perspective of the basis of association, there are three: the touch of wisdom, the touch of non-wisdom, and touches other than those. The first exists, because it is the immaculate touch. The second exists, because it is the afflicted touch. The third exists, because it is the remainder of those two, the contaminated virtue and the unobscured and unspecified touches. Afflicted touch, you have three: the touch of non-wisdom, the touch of harmful thoughts, and the touch of attachment. That, from the perspective of result, has three: the touch of experiencing pleasure, and so forth, the touch of experiencing suffering, and the touch of experiencing equanimity. Fourth, a general explanation, and a separate explanation of mental feeling, two. The first is: The feelings that arise from that are six, Five are of action, the other of mind. Thus it is said. The feeling that arises from touch, divided from the perspective of the self-cause, is six, Because there are six kinds such as the feeling that arises from the touch arising from the aggregation of the eye. The first five feelings are bodily feelings, Because they are feelings divided by relying on the self-cause, the form-possessing sense organs. The other, the sixth feeling, is a mental feeling, Because it is a feeling divided by relying on the self-cause, the mind. Second, of number

There are three ways: briefly indicating through the gateway, explaining in detail through the way of entering the place, and summarizing the meaning through the essence. The first is: 'From that mind's near-going, there are also eighteen aspects.' Thus it is said. Consciousness feeling is the subject to be established. From the mind's near-going to the place, the aspects are not only those previously mentioned, but there are also eighteen, namely the feelings that take the six objects such as form as their objects, and in the mind there are those six. Like that, there are six kinds of mental discomfort, and six kinds of equanimity. There is the meaning of near-going, because the mind performs near-going to those places. The second is divided into three situations: desire realm, form realm, and formless realm. The first is: 'In the desire realm, all are self-objecting. The acting object has twelve forms.' The above three are said like this. The desire realm is the subject to be established. All eighteen near-goings exist, because all take the six objects of their own place as their objects. The mind's near-going of the desire realm is the subject to be established. There is an acting object, that is, there are twelve that take the form realm as their object, and three that take the formless realm as their object. The first is established, because there are twelve besides the six of pleasure, pain, and equanimity that take its smell and taste as their objects. The second is established, because there are those three that take its dharma realm as their object. The second is divided into two situations: the first two dhyanas and the latter two. The first is: 'For those in meditation, the second dhyana has twelve desire-going objects. Self-objecting has eight kinds, the formless.' The second dhyana is said like this. The first two dhyanas are the subject to be established. When going to and objecting the desire realm, the near-going will become twelve kinds, because there are twelve besides the six kinds of mental discomfort. When objecting the self-place, there are eight kinds, because there are four pleasures and four equanimities that object the form, sound, touch, and dharma of the self-place, totaling eight kinds. When objecting the formless realm, there are two kinds, namely mind pleasure and equanimity. The second is: 'The second dhyana has six kinds, six kinds are the desire realm, the self-place has four kinds. The above one is the object.' Thus it is said. The latter two dhyanas are the subject to be established. There are six kinds in you, because there are only six equanimities among the eighteen. Regarding the way of objecting the three realms
