Raṃ. Because the source of this treatise is also those seven sections, it is said that way. Secondly, in analyzing the margins. Some say that this treatise contains all the words of the seven sections, because it contains the essential meanings of those seven, so it is not pervasive. If you admit it, then it is unreasonable, because the elaborations of the word collections of those seven are not included here. Because, as it says in the "Prince Sutra": "It is not from the perspective of words, but from the perspective of meaning that it is contained, but not all." Some say that if the direct teaching of this is the Abhidharma-kośa, then it must be the scholar's treatise, which is unreasonable, because the direct teaching of this is the treasury of the source from which this treatise arises. Because, as mentioned earlier, there are two meanings of treasury. For example, just as the place where jewels are placed is called a treasury, it is called a treasury, and the place where jewels originate is called a treasury, there are two such cases. Fourth, the necessity of teaching Abhidharma is: without thoroughly distinguishing the dharmas, there is no way to pacify the afflictions. Because of the afflictions, sentient beings wander in this ocean of existence. Therefore, the teacher taught it. There are two parts here: the meaning of the words and the marginal analysis. The first part is: Scholar, you have the motivation to write this Abhidharma treatise, what is the reason? Because, without the wisdom to thoroughly distinguish the dharmas, there is no main method to pacify the afflictions. Due to the control of afflictions, the world, that is, sentient beings, wander in this great ocean of samsara and cannot attain liberation. Therefore, the teacher initially taught the meanings of Abhidharma in a scattered manner, gathering them together in these seven sections of Abhidharma. It is said that the Sarvāstivāda school believes that these seven sections were compiled by seven Arhats. The reason for saying this is that the scholar believes that these seven sections were written by seven people named Arhat. Therefore, the Sarvāstivāda school expresses dissatisfaction with the claim that the seven sections are the Buddha's words, but believes that they were compiled by seven Arhats, which is a refutation.

Therefore. There are seven treatises compiled by those Arhats. As stated in the Vinaya: The Treatise on Entering Wisdom was made by Katyayana's son, the Abhidharma by Vasumitra, the Vijnanakaya by Devasarman, the Dharma Skandha by Shariputra, the Designation Treatise by Maha Maudgalyayana, the Dhatukaya by Purna. Therefore. Secondly, regarding the examination of the limits. Some argue that the teacher made refutations because he was dissatisfied with the words and meanings of the seven Abhidharma treatises. Because saying "Lo" is a word of dissatisfaction and refutation, it is not pervasive, because that is a refutation of the Separate Speakers' desire for the seven treatises to be the teachings, not because they are dissatisfied with the words and meanings of the seven treatises. It cannot be admitted, because the teacher is engaged in explaining the intention of the seven treatises. Some argue that the teacher himself is a Sutra Master in this case. Because the Son of the King Sutra says, "We Sutra Masters." So it is not pervasive, because that is the meaning that the Sutra Masters are the same in thinking that the seven treatises are not the teachings, not that the teacher himself is a Sutra Master. To that, if the Separate Speakers' system is taken as the basis, then it must be admitted that the teacher is a Separate Speaker. To that, if that is taken as the basis, then it must be admitted that the teacher himself is also a Separate Speaker. Some argue that "Lo" is not a word of dissatisfaction, because it is an ornament of expression. To that, because "Lo, Grags, Zer" are three ornaments of expression. To that, because the teacher's own guru, the Kashmiri Samghabhadra, thought so, it is not pervasive. Some argue that the teacher thought that all the words and meanings of those seven were without error. Because he explained all the intentions of the seven treatises without error, it is not pervasive. If you admit it, it is unreasonable, because the scriptures of the seven treatises show that karma-accumulated, uncreated dharmas are substantially established, so the teacher does not think that they are substantially established. Some argue that the teacher thought that the compilers of the seven treatises were not Arhats. Because the Sutra Masters thought so, it is temporarily not pervasive. To that, because they think that those are not Aryas. To that, because in the "Purification of the Doctrine of the Able One" it says: Therefore, the Sutra Masters also
