Because there are three types of feelings: suffering, pleasure, and equanimity. From the perspective of the self-cause, there are six, namely, from the feeling arising from the contact of the eye faculty to the feeling arising from the contact of the mind faculty, there are six. Each of these six is divided into three, so there are eighteen. The root text says, "Feelings are eighteen in total." In summary, they can be categorized into two types: bodily feelings and mental feelings. The root text says, "Five are of the body, the rest are of the mind." The feeling that is a sense consciousness is the same as bodily feeling. The feeling that is a mental consciousness is the same as mental feeling, only differing in name. There are three aspects to the meaning of experience: what is experienced, by whom it is experienced, and how it is experienced, because there are these three. The first is what is experienced, the second is the experiencer, and the third is the way of experiencing. There is the meaning of "undergoing," because it is the meaning of experiencing as if cut off by touch. Here, some say that dividing the meaning of experience into three is unreasonable, because experience is definitely one way of experiencing. The reason is that experience is definitely one of the three: suffering, pleasure, or equanimity, so it is not pervasive. Or, it is not definite, because there are feelings that are not any of these three. The reason is that general feelings and these three feelings are like that. There is a definition of perception, which is the mental factor that apprehends the unique characteristic or feature of its own object without mixing it up. There are divisions, namely, there are six types such as the perception arising from the contact of the eye faculty, and from the perspective of essence, there are two types of perception: non-conceptual and conceptual. The difference between the latter two is that the perception of the five senses is the first, and the perception of the mind is the second. There is a definition of formation (འདུ་བྱེད།, saṃskāra), which is a conditioned phenomenon that is different from any of the four aggregates of form, feeling, perception, and consciousness. If classified, there are two types: associated formations and non-associated formations. The difference between these two is that the first is a formation that is consciousness, and the second is a formation that is not consciousness. The first has many.

Therefore, there are forty-nine mental factors that are not feeling and conception. The second (referring to conception) has many kinds, according to the *Abhidharmakośa*, there are twenty-two, and according to the explanation here, there are fourteen. In terms of debating the second, some say that explaining the action of the second limb—volition—is unreasonable, because you have not explained action as volition. If you say that, it is not established, because it has been included in the corresponding volition and explained. The reason is that the internal volition is mainly action. The reason is that the action of the mental factor is the main part of the corresponding volition. Some say that compared to feeling and conception, the definition of volition is more, because the remaining forty-nine mental factors are all classified as volition. If you admit that, it is unreasonable, because for one person, countless discriminations of feeling and conception arise. The second is, those three non-form dharmas, as well as the unconditioned, etc., are called the realm of the dharma-sphere. It is said. The aggregates of feeling, conception, and volition, these three, as well as non-form dharmas, and four unconditioned dharmas, etc., these seven dharmas, there is a way to establish them in the realm and sphere, that is, to establish them as the dharma-sphere and the dharma-realm. Third, regarding the three dharmas included in mind, there are three: the nature of the three dharmas, the main part of the three dharmas is determined, and incidentally refuting the debate about the determination of the number of realms. The first is, each consciousness is able to distinguish, and the mind-sphere is also the same, and it is also considered to be the seven realms, that is, the six consciousnesses and the mind. The six consciousnesses have just ceased, any consciousness is the mind. In order to establish the basis of the six consciousnesses well, it is considered that there are eighteen realms. It is said. From here, there are two: the meaning of the words and the debate. The first is that the collection of the six consciousnesses is called the aggregate of consciousness, because in the field of mind, it appears to be gathered together, and because it is the main consciousness that is able to distinguish the nature of the object by its own power. It is indeed so, because from the eye consciousness relying on its own power to recognize form, to the mind consciousness relying on its own power to recognize dharma. The mind-sphere is also the same, it can be established, because it is
