The body of the Buddha, complete in an instant, manifests countless emanations. Similarly, beings such as gods, asuras, and humans can also be shown in an instant. Secondly, there are five aspects to the ground of fruition: first, the aspect of becoming a Buddha; the classification of body and qualities; the manifestation of the emanation body; accomplishment within the One Vehicle; and the explanation of the time of manifest enlightenment and abiding. The first has two parts: the main point and the refutation of arguments. The main point: The Buddha, the Bhagavan, in the Akanishta heaven, striving for the benefit of beings, you have attained the supreme, peaceful state, all virtues perfected and ultimate, incomparable, and unsurpassed wisdom. For what reason? Just as in the immaculate sky, the appearance of the moon makes the image clear. Having manifested the ten bhumis, which dispel the darkness that obstructs the attainment of the Buddha's teachings, you have again strived on this tenth bhumi, where you previously generated the ten powers, and attained the ultimate fruit. That one, possessing excellent knowledge, you have attained the wisdom that comprehends all knowable things in an instant. Because that Suchness is of one taste, having directly realized it with wisdom, it has become ultimately perfect. For example, although there are many different kinds of containers such as pots, these distinctions only create a barrier to contact for the space pervading the container, without any distinction of different kinds. Similarly, for Suchness, which has no distinctions of things, the dualistic appearance is extinguished, and it abides in equanimity in a way that it does not arise again. The second has two parts: establishing the position and refuting it. First, establishing the position: Someone says, when it is naturally peaceful, if it is established as Suchness, then wisdom will not enter that state. It must be admitted that without the intervention of wisdom, it cannot be determined as an object of knowledge. If the object is not fully understood, how can it become known? This would be contradictory. In that case, knowing Suchness

Since you have passed away without a teacher, how could you, Shakyamuni, show other disciples this way of realizing the true nature? It is impossible. If you ask, then, the second part has two points: refuting the argument that realizing the true nature is unreasonable; refuting the argument that the knower is unreasonable. The first point is: There is no fault in Shakyamuni Buddha's realization of the true nature, because, although Shakyamuni is free from the duality of the true nature, he can still rely on the truth of conventional terms to explain that he has realized the true nature. At any time, when the selflessness of arising as the true nature of the object, and the subjective wisdom with the aspect of selflessness of arising, merge like water poured into water, from the attachment to the aspect of that object, your realization of the true nature is established. For example, when the mind arises as having the aspect of a blue object, we say that the mind fully understands the object, and the situation is the same. The second point is: There is no unreasonable fault in the knower, because the Buddha's wisdom in seeing the true nature is integrated with the ultimate truth of the object's selflessness of arising. Even if the Buddha does not have the intention and discrimination of teaching the Dharma, the Buddha's perfect enjoyment body is possessed by the vast accumulation of merit, and the incarnation of that body, not only that, the power of the incarnation can even make the void and other plants emit sounds, thereby proclaiming the true nature of the Dharma, therefore, the beings of the world to be transformed can also realize the true nature because of this. For example, just like in this world, a powerful potter's wheel that has been spun for a long time with great effort, even though the potter's effort has now stopped, the wheel still spins and is regarded as the cause of pottery and so on. Similarly, even if there is no discrimination of effort arising now, the manifestation of the pure altruistic activities of the Buddha who dwells in the Dharmakaya is driven by the merit of the beings to be transformed and the special features of his own previous aspirations, therefore, this is extremely inconceivable.
