The so-called "edge" refers to non-existence, and dependent origination is here called transcendence of edge. Dependent origination, free from edges, is the emptiness that is established by its own nature, and is called the emptiness that transcends edges. The "edge" mentioned here is like saying that a cliff is an edge and falling from a cliff is falling into an edge in the world. Clinging to non-existent things as existent is clinging to the edge of permanence; slandering existent things as non-existent is clinging to the edge of annihilation. The meaning clung to by these two is called edge, and those who cling to it will be destroyed, and are called falling into edge. In order to dispel the clinging to the Middle Way as truly established after abandoning these two edges, this emptiness is proclaimed. Tenth, existence. The first edge that has never appeared until now, and the last edge that will not appear in the future, since these do not exist, samsara is called beginningless and endless. Because it is free from the nature of coming and going, this dream-like existence is empty because it is established by its own nature, and whatever this emptiness is, is the emptiness without beginning and end, as stated by the words of the treatise, and it is definitely proclaimed in the Prajna Sutra. There it is said that samsara has a later edge, but here it is said that samsara has no later edge, the meaning is slightly different, so there is no contradiction. Eleventh, existence. The so-called "abandonment" refers to throwing away and abandoning, and non-abandonment refers to not abandoning, that is, the Mahayana that does not abandon any of its own nature at any time. This non-abandonment is emptiness because it is established by its own nature, and whatever this emptiness is, is its own nature, so it is called non-abandonment emptiness. Twelfth, it is said that the self-nature of conditioned phenomena and so on, that is, the Dharma-nature, is called self-nature. Because this Dharma-nature is not created by Shravaka disciples, Pratyekabuddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Tathagatas, but abides in its own nature, therefore, the self-nature of conditioned phenomena and so on, whatever is Dharma-nature, is Dharma-lakshana, is self-nature emptiness. Because self-nature is emptiness because it is established by its own self-nature.

Therefore, the thirteenth is that there are six realms of the dependent sense organs such as the eye, six realms of consciousness that depend on the consciousness of the eye, etc., and six realms of objects of focus such as form, which are the eighteen realms. And the six touches such as the touch arising from the combination of the eye (sense organ), and the six feelings arising from those six touches, and the two, form and formless, similarly, conditioned and unconditioned dharmas are called all dharmas. Those dharmas are all empty of being established by their own nature, that is, all dharmas are emptiness. The fourteenth has three parts: brief explanation, detailed explanation, and summary of meaning. The first is: the characteristic of form is changeability, etc., the characteristic of feeling is experience, etc., and things are non-existent by their own characteristics, that is the subject. Its own characteristic is emptiness, because it is the emptiness that is empty of truth by the basis of emptiness itself. The second has three parts: the nature of the base dharma, the nature of the path dharma, and the nature of the fruit dharma. The first is: form is the characteristic or nature of being changeable, feeling is the nature of experiencing pleasure and pain, consciousness is the distinction between external signs such as blue and yellow and internal signs such as pleasure and pain, action is manifest action, the nature of consciousness itself is to distinguish objects separately, the nature of the aggregates is suffering, the nature of the realms is considered to be like poisonous snakes, and the Buddha said that the sources are the gates of suffering. Dependent origination, such as ignorance, is the distinction of the nature and nature of the aggregation of causes and conditions. Those characteristics are not necessarily contradictory in meaning, because only the main part that expresses their respective nature is mentioned. Here, do not only cling to the words, because the main thing is to explain the meaning. The second is: the perfection of generosity is the characteristic of giving things completely to others, discipline is the characteristic of being without suffering, patience
