If it exists, it becomes truly established. Because the false state of being established does not incur the faults previously raised. Secondly, if it is said that although the earlier and later moments are different in essence, they are not faulty because they are one continuum, this is also unreasonable. If they truly exist in one continuum, then the way it is unreasonable is as previously stated when analyzing in detail in the context of "Maitreya Near Protector" etc., the faults of being such a continuum have already been explained. For things that are established by their own nature, being a continuum is also unreasonable. As stated in the Root Wisdom Text: "If it is said to be different from God, then it is permanent. If it is said to be different from non-God, then it is not uninterrupted." Because it is said so. Furthermore, it is also unreasonable. If it is thought that a continuum established by its own nature is one, it will also lead to faults such as experiencing the results of actions not performed. One's own aggregates and mind are not reasonable as self, for the reasons previously stated. Secondly, each of the five aggregates is not self, because if the aggregates are self, then self and the world must be either finite, or infinite, or both, or neither, etc. Self and the world being finite etc., like being held by the fourteen kinds of unanswerable wrong views, do not exist. Thirdly, according to your view, when a yogi directly sees no-self, at that time he will necessarily see that the objects of the aggregates do not exist, and thus see that self does not exist at all, because you think that my aggregates and mind are self. This is pervasive, because you admit that my aggregates and mind are self-established. The opponent says: According to your view, will there also be the same fault? It is not the same, because you admit that when searching for the meaning of that designation, it can be found. We think that establishing existence can be established merely by name. If it is said that at that time, abandoning the permanent, single, and independent self, that is, realizing non-existence, so there is no fault. Then according to your view, the mind or aggregates will also not become the self-established self or mine, because according to your view, when a yogi directly sees no-self, it is merely the absence of an independent self.

Therefore, one can realize it. Furthermore, according to your view, a yogi who directly sees no-self will not realize the suchness of form, etc. Because at that time, only the selflessness of permanence, oneness, and independence is directly seen. The reason is accepted. If you agree, then a yogi who has perfected the realization of no-self will still generate attachment, etc., towards form, etc. Because they engage with form by fixating on it as true, because they have not realized the essence of how that form is. The fourth section has five points: Explaining the meaning of the statement that all views of self are based solely on the observation of the aggregates; Explaining, based on other sutras, that merely the collection of aggregates is not the self; Refuting that the arrangement of the shape of merely the collection of aggregates is the self; Showing other faults in considering merely the collection of aggregates as the self; The Buddha said that the self is imputed in dependence on the six elements, etc. The first part has three points: Showing that the meaning of the scriptures is from the aspect of negation, which cuts off what is to be negated; Even if it is from the aspect of establishment, it does not show the aggregates as the self; Refuting others' arguments against these. The first point is: Someone says, one must consider one's own aggregates as the self, because the teacher said that the aggregates of one's own continuum are the self. As the sutra says: Monks, ascetics, etc., up to: They should truly observe these five aggregates of grasping. Therefore, it is said that the aggregates are the self. This is not reasonable, because that sutra was spoken to negate a self that is different from the aggregates. Because one's own form aggregate is not the self, etc., other sutras have said. The sutra stating "ascetics, etc." does not mean that the aggregates are considered the self, why? Because form and feeling are not the self, perception is also not the self, formations are also not the self, and consciousness is also not the self, other sutras have said. This is pervasive, if you interpret the meaning of the former sutra as you do, then it will be harmed by reasoning, and the meaning of the latter sutra is not harmed. Therefore, the sutra that says "only look at the aggregates" also says the aggregates
