It is not pervasive. It cannot be agreed, because it is said in the scriptures that anger does not newly arise in the continuum of the noble ones. Third, the three dharmas of discipline and patience included by the word "etc." in generosity, etc., in terms of their nature, in most scriptures, the Sugata praises householders for practicing with them as a basis, because it is easier to practice with them as a basis. These dharmas themselves, in terms of their nature, are also the accumulation of merit among the two accumulations, and they are the cause of accomplishing the form body of the Buddha among the two form bodies, because they are the main factors of that cause. Fourth, like the prince of a king, the sun, the third bodhisattva ground, the illuminating ground, which abides in the continuum, in terms of its nature, eliminates the darkness of faults in the continuum of self and others, because it first correctly eliminates the darkness of ignorance in the continuum belonging to the possessor of self-continuum, and then manifests the desire to destroy the darkness of ignorance in the continuum of beings. A bodhisattva abiding in this ground, in terms of its nature, even if his wisdom is very sharp in destroying the faults of others, will not be angry with a person who has faults, because the perfection of patience is increased, and the continuum is softened by great compassion. As in "in the Middle Way," etc., it is easy to understand, because it is similar to the previous text. Fourth, explaining the fourth ground, the radiant ground, in three parts: especially showing diligence on this ground; showing the meaning of the ground; showing the difference of abandonment. The first has two parts: the meaning of the words and the general meaning. First, diligence, in terms of its nature, is the cause of making the virtues that have been obtained abide and increase, and of obtaining the virtues that have not been obtained, because all virtues follow you, that is, depend on you, and merit and wisdom, that is, the accumulation of wisdom, are the cause of both, that is, the accomplisher. Such diligence burns in which ground, that is, increases, with which the fourth ground, in terms of its nature, is called the light radiating to you, because the perfection of diligence is increased, and it is the bodhisattva ground with the meaning to be explained. Second, what kind of virtues are obtained on this ground? Diligence increases and twelve kotis of virtues are obtained.

Therefore, there is a way to take birth with the result of maturation, because after taking the identity of the one who is free from strife, he does the work of benefiting sentient beings. The reason why this land is called the Radiant Land is that, in meditative equipoise, by relying on the contemplation of the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, both gross and subtle, in the subsequent attainment, a vision of light arises that is superior to the third ground. Therefore, it is said that way. So, what is the nature of diligence, etc.? There is, namely, accumulating virtue, making the mind rejoice for the sake of sentient beings, and shaking the three doors of action that are defiled by it, is the nature of diligence. If diligence is divided, there are three types: armor-like diligence, diligence in accumulating virtue and Dharma, and diligence in benefiting sentient beings. If it is diligence, it is not necessarily the perfection of diligence, because there is diligence in the minds of Hearers and Solitary Realizers. Diligence in rejoicing in non-virtuous actions, if it is said to be imputed diligence, it is still possible, but it is difficult to establish it as diligence, because the "Guide to the Bodhisattva's Way of Life" says: Diligence is rejoicing in virtue. Because its nature is rejoicing in virtuous actions. Second, the object of knowledge, the fourth ground is called the Radiant Land, because in that land, for the sons of the Sugata, due to the special practice of the thirty-seven dharmas that are part of perfect enlightenment, the light of wisdom that arises is superior to the light like copper light obtained in the third ground, for this reason it is called that way. So, what are the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment? There are, namely, mindfulness of the body, similarly, feeling, mind, and dharmas, the four mindfulnesses. The four right exertions of generating unarisen virtuous dharmas, increasing arisen ones, not generating unarisen non-virtuous dharmas, and abandoning arisen ones. The power of aspiration, similarly, diligence, mind, and contemplation, the four miraculous legs. The faculty of faith, similarly, diligence, mindfulness, concentration, and the faculty of wisdom, the five faculties. The five powers, such as the power of faith. Mindfulness, the branch of perfect enlightenment, similarly, discrimination of dharmas, diligence, joy, pliancy, concentration, equanimity, the seven branches of enlightenment. Right view, similarly.
