This is to directly explain the meaning, because it is acknowledged that the ultimate view of the Root Commentary on the Uttaratantra is in the Prasangika Madhyamaka. Third, here, there are four ways to show the other special qualities of this ground: the giving of this ground, the giving of an inferior basis, the giving of a bodhisattva, and the explanation of the classification of the perfection of giving. First, when the first ground is attained, the bodhisattva abiding on the first ground, in terms of dharma nature, the first cause for you to attain the complete enlightenment of the Buddha, the perfection of giving itself is also more excellent than the other perfections, because when giving away body, possessions, etc., there is no defilement of the clinging to miserliness, and in the practice of the perfection of giving, the degree of increase is especially attained, because it is a mind-hero who has not attained an extraordinary increase in the practice of other perfections. At that time, not only is there respect for giving away external objects, but also respect is shown for giving away one's own flesh and blood, in terms of dharma nature, it can be inferred that the inner qualities of this bodhisattva are also not visible to most other people, and this will also become a basis for proof, because there it will become a reason for establishment. For example, just as inferring the presence of fire from smoke. The second aspect has two parts: accomplishing the happiness of samsara through giving, and accomplishing the happiness of nirvana. The first aspect, the nature of knowable things, the reason why the Able One initially spoke the words of giving to those to be tamed is that these beings all desire the happiness of pacifying sufferings such as heat, cold, hunger, and thirst, and the happiness of people does not arise without the enjoyment of food and drink, etc., and it is also known that enjoyment comes from previous giving, because that is the reason. So, for the arising of the fruition of giving and enjoyment, is it necessary for the giver to be virtuous and in accordance with the Dharma? It is not necessarily required, even if the giver lacks compassion, and not only that, but for those who harbor extremely harsh minds towards other sentient beings, and who mainly focus on accomplishing their own worldly benefit, their desired enjoyments still come from previous giving, becoming the cause of pacifying sufferings such as hunger and thirst. The second aspect is, merely expecting the ripening result

Furthermore, this act of giving inferior offerings is also a Dharma. It not only brings the happiness of samsara but also the happiness of nirvana. When giving, whenever the giver quickly encounters a noble being. Then, by accepting the Dharma taught by the noble being, the continuation of samsara is completely cut off, thereby obtaining the cause and effect of encountering the noble being, and ultimately attaining the fruit of the shravaka or pratyekabuddha's peace. The third part has four aspects: revealing the unique benefits of a Bodhisattva's giving; praising giving to both supports; what kind of joy a Bodhisattva obtains when giving; whether there is suffering when a Bodhisattva gives his body. The first point is: Bodhisattvas who have vowed to benefit sentient beings have a reason to respect giving. Because through giving, they can quickly see the beggar satisfied and immediately obtain the fruit of giving—supreme joy. The second point is: knowable phenomena, the words of giving to both supports are themselves of paramount importance. The reason is that whether it is a Bodhisattva with compassion or a Bodhisattva without compassion, giving can lead them to higher realms and definite goodness. The third point is: knowable phenomena, the happiness that Bodhisattvas obtain by giving up all their body and wealth is far greater than the happiness of shravakas and pratyekabuddhas entering the state of peace, let alone anything else. When hearing the beggar say "Please give," and thinking about its meaning, the Bodhisattva will understand that this is begging to himself, thereby generating great happiness. Shravakas and pratyekabuddhas entering the state of peace cannot generate such happiness. The fourth point is: noble Bodhisattva, you have no suffering when giving your body. Even if there is no suffering, think of the suffering of ordinary people, cut off your own body to give, and disregard your own suffering, but regard the suffering of other sentient beings in hell, etc., as your own experience, and in order to cut off these sufferings, quickly initiate diligence. The fourth point is: know.
