Furthermore, because of the reason just stated, the Teacher, with the fearless roar of a lion, repeatedly and well proclaimed in the assembly of the wise that all phenomena are devoid of the nature of being truly established. Who could refute this? No one can refute it. The inability to refute means that the opponent cannot raise objections on doctrinal grounds, that is, they cannot surpass the meaning of what you have said and offer a better explanation. Thirdly, on any phenomenon, there is nothing that is established by its own nature, and in conventional terms, it is said that all arrangements, such as "relying on this cause, this result arises," are reasonable. Not only are these two not contradictory, but they are also said to be mutually supportive. Since this is the case, there is no need to mention existing simultaneously, it is certain that they can coexist on one basis. Just as it is said in the sutras: "Emptiness is form, form is not other than emptiness," and so on. Also, in the Root Wisdom it says: "Whatever is dependently arisen, that is explained as emptiness. That itself is a designation made in dependence, and that is the Middle Way." And in the Entering the Middle Way it says: "Grasping at real things and self-nature." Likewise, although all things are empty, they arise from emptiness. As it is proclaimed. Lord, you have said: All phenomena are interdependent, and especially all compounded things, because they arise in dependence on their own causes and conditions, do not rely on the extreme view of holding that they arise from any of the four: self, other, both, and without cause. This excellent statement is the supreme cause for establishing your words as unsurpassed. As it is said in the Root Wisdom: "The agent depends on the action, and the action also depends on the agent. Apart from arising in dependence, no cause for accomplishment is seen." Like this, there are two types of extreme views: the extreme view of permanence and the extreme view of annihilation. The conception of holding that things arise from any of the four extremes, and the conception of holding that things exist by their own nature, is the extreme view of permanence. And in conventional terms, the conception of holding that actions such as cause and effect are unreasonable is the extreme view of annihilation. The so-called extreme,

Just as the place where one falls in the world is called an abyss, here, the place where the one who clings to it is destroyed is called an extreme, and the thought that clings there is called clinging to extremes. Second, the summary praise is: All the phenomena of cause and effect, internal and external, when searching for the meaning of the imputation that is imputed by the correct reasoning that examines the ultimate truth, because there is no way to find the meaning of the imputation, it is certain that it is empty of self-nature. Without examining or analyzing with reason, only in the mere conventional terms, the certainty that this result arises from this cause, there is no obstacle that the two cannot establish each other. One helps the other to lead to more certainty, and there is nothing more wonderful than this, and there is nothing more wonderful than this. This is the intention of the previously quoted "If you know that all dharmas are empty" etc. in the Bodhicitta Commentary. Je Tsongkhapa said that this is the ultimate difficulty of the Madhyamaka view. In the Small Stages of the Path, it says: The difficulty lies in the fact that the self-nature that is established by its own nature is completely refuted, and the person etc. who has no self-nature, from himself, produces the creator and the one who experiences the result, etc., and a deep understanding arises. The combination of the two that can establish these has reached the extent of being marginal, so the Madhyamaka view is very difficult to obtain. It also says: When searching with the reasoning that examines Suchness, even the person etc. who is born and dies cannot find even a particle that can be analyzed, but it is necessary to form an understanding like that which is said in the sutras, that all dharmas are like illusions, and black and white results will arise. Therefore. Therefore, although you, Shakyamuni, have countless qualities worthy of praise, it is especially through praising you in this way of teaching dependent origination that you will be praised in accordance with the Dharma. If you praise in the way of other qualities, you will not be praised as perfectly as this. That's how it is. The second part has four points: it is unreasonable to admit dependent origination but not to admit emptiness of self-nature; explaining that the realists of our own school etc. have become outsiders to the essence of Buddhism.
