Because you believe that if someone holds extreme views of permanence and annihilation, they will fall into the terrifying abyss of wrong views. Here, the reason for saying "see" is because there is the word "na" indicating emphasis. Some places have slightly different expressions. In the collected works of Je Tsongkhapa, there is the word "including," which indicates the location. In the "Compendium of Practices," there is also the saying "including." As it is said in the Root Wisdom Treatise: If emptiness is not possible, then everything is not possible. Third, because of the reasons mentioned above, seeing the principle of dependent origination or the nature of reality in the teachings of the Teacher is well praised. The way to praise understanding self-emptiness and also how actions and results are established is as follows: The Protector Nagarjuna said: Having understood that all phenomena are empty, and then engaging in actions and results, this is more wonderful than wonderful, more amazing than amazing. Also, in the sutras, it is said: Whoever sees dependent origination sees the Dharma. However, the principle of dependent origination is not seen by viewing dependent origination as completely non-existent in conventional terms, or by viewing it as inherently existent. It is necessary to see it through properly understanding the reasoning of dependent origination. The second part has two points: the manner of speaking and showing that opponents cannot find fault. The first part has three points: showing that dependence is the meaning of dependent origination; showing that because it is dependent origination, it is empty of inherent existence; showing that if it were inherently established, then Nirvana and other attainments would not be possible. The first point is: a phenomenon that does not depend on its basis of imputation, its parts, or its collection, is like a flower in the sky, because its basis is not established. Therefore, there is no phenomenon that is established independently without relying on its parts, etc. If something like a sprout were established independently by its own nature, then it would be contradictory for that sprout to depend on its causes and conditions. Because being established independently by its own nature means being truly established, and being truly established means it must be independent, but in fact, nothing is independent. Therefore, sprouts and other things are not established by their own nature, but are established in dependence on others.

Therefore, it is shown "in order to prevent." Here, the word "dependent" appears, but in some collections of writings, "dependent on" appears, which seems more appropriate, because it is obtained that "depending on it is contradictory." This is the meaning of what is said in the Root Wisdom Treatise: "Self-nature is not artificial, and does not depend on others." Second, because of the reasons mentioned earlier, there is no dharma that exists other than arising from dependence. Because there is no such thing, the teacher said that there is no dharma that exists other than being empty by nature. As it is said in the collection of writings, "in the sense of the past tense," although according to the word "say" in this Dharma Practice, the meaning of "say" should be obtained, there is still a slight difference. The so-called "except" means "except there," but the word "from" appears as a distinguishing term, meaning that there is no other dharma than it. As it is said in the Root Wisdom Treatise: "Why is it that there is no dharma that is not dependent arising? Therefore, there is no dharma that is not emptiness." Third, if it is a self-nature that is truly established, then it must be something that will never change, that is, cannot be transformed. If some of the dharmas are established by self-nature, then at that time, doing and not doing are not reasonable, and Nirvana, that is, obtaining liberation, is also not allowed. In the end, all the elaborations of clinging to dualistic conceptual thoughts, you, the teacher, also said that they will not change. This also means that if clinging to reality is truly established, then because it cannot be transformed, abandoning it is also unreasonable. Nirvana cannot be obtained either. For the meaning of "unchanging," the word "irreversible" appears, which means the same thing. This is the meaning of what is said in the Root Wisdom Treatise: "Self-nature changing to another is never reasonable." If it is a self-nature that is truly established, then as quoted above, it must have three characteristics: non-artificial, not dependent on others, and not changing to another. For details, it is necessary to learn from the commentaries on the Root Wisdom Treatise and other major treatises of Madhyamaka. If a verse like this is explained in reverse order, the explanation will also... That is also to make it easier for others to understand, so explaining in order will also change. Two
