If one offers a pleasing mandala, then the accomplishment of siddhi is certain, therefore one should offer. The master himself should be well anointed with fragrant water, the door is the face, and one should meditate on Heruka whose face is in all directions, and then anoint him. Here, if one desires the supreme siddhi, one should offer a hundred lamps. The meaning of the eight branches, such as the sky-goers of the sky, has already been explained. Furthermore, if one desires the supreme siddhi, one should offer a hundred fragrances and flowers, and likewise, one should also offer a hundred incenses and lamps. Some translations lack the branch called "ritual," and if it exists, it should be done for the purpose of offering, like a hundred rituals. To whom should one offer? One should offer to all the heroes and yoginis in the place of the glorious Heruka mandala. Other offerings include red victory banners, as well as yellow, white, black, and yellowish-brown ones. Likewise, clothes of various colors, many flower garlands hanging from above, banners above, and curtains on the sides should be arranged as beautifully as possible. Likewise, with delicious food, delicacies, and drinks, one should focus one's mind intently and offer them. The third is the explanation of the second chapter of the establishment of the wheel and the ritual of offering it, from what is said in the glorious Heruka. Secondly, there are six aspects to empowering that accomplished mandala: First, pleasing the lama and the deity; entering the mandala and bestowing empowerment; offering wealth along with benefits; empowerment is absolutely necessary; the greatness of empowerment; indicating the name of the chapter. First, this will be explained without quoting the root text. After explaining the second chapter, the practitioner, that is, the disciple to be empowered, should first, before the empowerment, please the master very well. With what? With all the things of body, speech, and mind. That is, because one desires siddhi, one should be very focused, that is, with one-pointed devotion, offering the master as much as one can, and then praying for the purpose of empowerment. The bell is one that makes a sound, hanging from above, and also with flowers and incense from above and from all directions.

Adorned and ringing the very melodious bell, the practitioner beats the drum, namely the ḍamaru, and the sound of "haha" should be uttered. If explained metaphorically, the bell is a sixteen-year-old girl, and the drum is a twelve-year-old girl. Very melodious refers to sweet speech and beautiful appearance, etc. Beating refers to attachment, similar to ringing, referring to the disciples equally uniting with those vidyādharīs. The occasion is the time of the wisdom and knowledge empowerment. The second part has two points: introducing into the mandala and bestowing empowerment upon entering. The first is: Having thus worshipped the mandala according to the ritual, one should introduce into the outer mandala. Again, according to the metaphorical explanation, through the means of equal union with the wisdom mother (beautiful in form, etc., possessing all the qualities of desire), starting from the letter "A," one should introduce into the mandala of the inner lotus. Of these two, according to the first method, in the preparatory stage, because they are made into girls, they are called "girls," and the faces of those who are beautiful and pleasing, situated outside the curtain, should be well covered with silk or cloth. The silk covering signifies non-disclosure, and the covering symbolizes secrecy. Having thus covered the eyes, one fills the palms with flowers, allows them to hold the hand seal, and then truly enters within the curtain. Then, the practitioner, that is, the disciple, being very concentrated, without distraction, then circumambulates the mandala and is introduced into the delightful palace of Heruka, meaning that one contemplates abiding in the mandala in one's mind. It is said that the word "Losang," etc., one foot, is present in the translations of Lotsawa and Mal, so it seems unnecessary. If it exists, then if the master possesses intelligence, he should add "equally." The phrase "body leaning towards the south" is explained by some as Chakrasamvara facing south, and Lawapa explains it as leaning towards the south, using flowers to symbolize desire, and says that flowers should also be scattered in the other three directions. Then, the flowers previously held in the palms are thrown onto the top of the mandala. Then, the blindfold is opened, and whichever deity the flower falls upon, it is shown that that disciple is the deity of that lineage, and the abode of Shri Heruka, etc., and the other deities and their abodes and palaces.
