This method of explaining through four approaches not only encompasses the Guhyasamaja Tantra but also some other Anuttara Tantras. Some explanations are also applicable to the Anuttara Tantras and the three lower Tantra classes, thus including methods for explaining the meaning of all Tantras. As stated in the commentary on the Jnana Vajra Samucchaya, "Explanations complete with six limits and four modes are not suitable for Tantras other than the Anuttara Yoga Tantra. However, some explanations, such as the meaning of letters and literal meanings, are also suitable for the lower Tantra classes. Therefore, revealing the classifications of all Tantras that enter up to one aspect of the six limits and four modes of explanation..." Furthermore, the Anuttara Yoga Tantra shows all the methods of explanation bound by the six limits and four modes, so it should not be regarded as solely explaining the Guhyasamaja. Therefore, the fourth ornament, the ornament of explanation methods, has three aspects: classification, individual definitions, and summarizing the meaning. The first is: For the sake of pleasing the listener with the explanation, there are two classifications: explaining to an assembly and explaining to a disciple. This is easy to understand. The second is: Literal words, non-intentional meanings, that which has become a straightforward meaning, the meaning of letters, and the general meaning are said to be explanations to an assembly. Non-literal words, definitive meanings, similarly intentional explanations, hidden and ultimate meanings are considered explanations to a disciple. As it is said, this is mainly done according to the principal factor, but in general, explaining to an assembly and explaining to a disciple are not contradictory. The third is: Following the explained Tantra, the Sugatas, for the sake of those to be tamed, relying on the two stages, have spoken of the divisions of explanation. As it is said, the meaning of the ordinary commentary here is easy to understand. The side note says: Thus, the two divisions of explanation for those to be tamed are the division of explaining this path to this person to be tamed. This is different from the method of explaining with the six limits and four modes, so it should be distinguished. If each of the five sets of the six limits and four modes must be explained to the assembly and the disciple, then the generation stage will not be explained to a person like a jewel, and in that case, there will be no two stages on that path. If intentional explanations and so on are not explained to the person explaining to the assembly, then they will not be able to

When explaining the tantras, many texts need to be placed. If it is not permissible to explain all the tantric texts, that is very unreasonable. In the commentary on the seventeenth chapter, it says that for those who have realized the suchness, the Guhyasamaja is the nature of reality that can be seen, and it is heard that one can attain Buddhahood in this very life. From there, it is not the case that one does not explain all the tantras to each of the two types of people to whom one is explaining. Therefore, it is understood that the two explanations are done separately after examining whether they are suitable vessels or not, as stated above. The fifth of the five ornaments is the ornament of the listener, which has five aspects: the classification of people, the meaning of each division, the difference between faculties and vessels, how to become a vessel for the two explanations, and showing the necessity of explaining after examining the vessel. The first is: Those who want to listen in every way, for the world that is certain, from the immeasurable forms of intelligence, it is desired to divide people into five types. Utpala (藏文,梵文天城体utpala,梵文罗马拟音utpala,汉语字面意思:Utpala) and white lotus, as well as lotus, sandalwood, and precious jewels. By name, they distinguish different natures, which is what the all-knowing one said. This is easy to understand. The second has five aspects: from the person of Utpala (藏文,梵文天城体utpala,梵文罗马拟音utpala,汉语字面意思:Utpala) to the person like a precious jewel. The first is: He has heard everything, and is skilled in grasping, but forgets in an instant, that is the person called Utpala Like that. The second is: Although he has heard many things to be grasped, he has no ability to show them, like the cloth, cotton, and seeds of a vase, that is the person called White Lotus. Like that. The third is: He has faith and compassion, and when he hears, his intelligence opens up, dripping like the lower part without words, that is the person called Lotus. Like that. The fourth is: He has heard little, but is full of pride, speaks much without basis, and cannot grasp afterwards, that is the person called Sandalwood. Like that. The fifth is: His discipline is pure, he is skilled and disciplined, has wisdom and a consistent lineage, and can show well after hearing, that is the person called Precious Jewel. Thus it is said, and the detailed meaning is clear in the commentary. The third should be regarded as the final conclusion. The fourth is: Utpala (藏文,梵文天城体utpala,梵文罗马拟音utpala,汉语字面意思:Utpala) is like happiness, as well as White Lotus, Lotus, and Sandalwood themselves, these four types of people are the people to whom one explains for the assembly. He has the fortune of the completion stage, and is always adorned with conduct, this is the person of Precious Jewel, the vessel to whom one explains for the disciples.
