Relying on this, only by analyzing it, these are the core words for dispelling doubts. Observing "one's own mind is the object" etc., analyze whether self-nature is established or not, and recognize that it is not established. Similarly, all phenomena of waking time are merely established by the mind, and nothing else. The so-called "abode mind of the vajra of space," the vajra of space refers to emptiness by its very nature, and the mind itself abiding therein is also empty by its very nature. As the dharma of things that are subjects, the dharma-nature of those things that do not exist by their own nature, that is, true emptiness, also does not exist by its own nature. The second part is divided into two points: first, asking whether establishing cause and effect actions is contradictory in the case of emptiness by its very nature; second, explaining that these two are not contradictory, and this is the intention of the Tathagata. The first point is: The Bhagavan said, "Meditate on space" etc. Then, the Bhagavan, the Tathagata, Akshobhya Buddha, etc., all said this, and what is surprising about this is the dream, and what is even more surprising is that its result actually exists. Since this is the case, in order to dispel the doubts about the body, speech, and mind vows of all the Tathagatas, Vajrasattva was asked: What is the meaning of what was said? This is difficult, how is it difficult? The difficulty lies in the fact that for many phenomena that are established by their own nature, the dharma-nature, that is, the cause and effect of its result arising, is universally proclaimed to be infallible, which is truly amazing. The basis of cause and effect is based on space, relying on this, meditating on space, this is like arising. The second part is divided into two points: first, through the example of space, it is shown that emptiness without self-nature pervades all subjects; second, through this, the meaning of many being one is explained. The first point is: Thereafter, the Bhagavan said: One should awaken accordingly. The Bhagavan, the lord of the body, speech, and mind of all the Tathagatas, Vajrapani, Vajradhara, the Tathagata, said this to all the Tathagatas of the retinue: O Bhagavan, all the Tathagatas, after calling out in this way, space is no different from cloth, camphor, or any other thing, and does not possess singularity.

Because the two appear separately. But these two are not without a single essence, because they all belong to the realm of space. However, space does not think, "I pervade and belong to all dharmas, I follow all dharmas." Just like the former, all the Blessed Ones, the Tathagatas, should realize that all dharmas are like dreams, and that the fruit arises from the vows of dreams. The seven ways of applying the analogy are: space and the dharmas of the container and its contents are not one, nor are they different in essence; just as space pervades them, so does the nature of their emptiness pervade them. Although it pervades in this way, space does not have the pride of thinking that it pervades those dharmas, just as emptiness of inherent existence pervades all dharmas, it does not have the pride of thinking that it pervades them. This is the meaning of the pacification of dualistic appearance. The second is, from what the Blessed One said, "without inherent existence." All the Blessed Ones, the Tathagatas, are like this, for example, space cannot be shown as an object to be seen by the eye, nor can it be seen by the senses such as the eye, and it has no obstruction to walls, etc. Likewise, all the Blessed Ones, the Tathagatas, should realize all dharmas in that way. All the Blessed Ones, the Tathagatas, are like this, for example, the vow that the body, speech, mind, and all dharmas abide irreversibly like a vajra in the object of speech, that is, not going beyond it, follows and pervades all the dharmas of the container and its contents. The dharmas are one in the essence of emptiness of inherent existence, that is, they are the same, for example, just as the emptiness of inherent existence of the mind was shown before. The dharmas represented by the realms of body, speech, and mind, and the realm of space, these essences are not dual, and dualistic minds cannot divide them into two. Just as space merely obstructs tangible obstacles, the nature of the respective objects of dharma is merely the establishment of obstructing true existence.
